【E】정용화, 류현진 만난다! 美 LA 다저스 경기장서 애국가 Jung Yonghwa to meet Ryu Hyunjin! Singer for National Anthem at LA Dodgers Stadium

그룹 씨엔블루 리더 정용화가 코리안 메이저리거들을 위해 애국가를 부른다.

정용화는 27일 오후 6시 30분(현지시간) LA 다저스 야구장에서 개최되는 '코리아 나이트(Korea Night)'에서 LA다저스와 신시내티 레즈 경기 전 애국가를 부른다. 이날 행사에는 한국인 최초 메이저리거 박찬호와 LA 다저스에서 활약 중인 '코리안 몬스터' 류현진이 참석할 예정. 정용화는 경기장 내 대형 태극기 LED 애니메이션 배경으로 애국가를 제창하게 된다.

정용화와 류현진의 인연은 이번이 처음이 아니다. 류현진의 이번 시즌 테마곡 '류캔두잇'은 정용화가 작사 작곡한 노래로 류현진이 출전하는 홈경기마다 LA 다저스타디움에 울려 퍼진다.

한편, 이번 '코리안 나이트' 행사는 한국관광공사가 개최하는 것으로 다저스측에서는 경기장 입장 관중 5만명을 대상으로 류현진 선수의 버블헤드(머리가 흔들리는 인형) 증정 행사를 진행한다. 박찬호가 후배 류현진 선수를 격려하기 위해 시구자로 나서고, 현장에서는 경기장 전광판을 통한 한국관광 광고 상영, 태권도 공연, 항공권 경품 이벤트 등이 진행될 예정이다.

Jung Yonghwa will sing Aegukga at the 'Korea Night' on May 27 at 6:30 pm, before the LA Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds' game. The first Korean major leaguer Park Chanho (Chan Ho Park) and the 'Korean monster' Ryu Hyunjin will attend this event. Jung Yonghwa will be singing the national anthem with the Taegukgi (Korean flag) flashed across the LED in the background.

This isn't the first meeting between Jung Yonghwa and Ryu Hyunjin. Ryu Hyunjin's season theme song 'Ryu Can Do It' is written and composed by Jung Yonghwa, and it plays during every home game that Ryu Hyunjin throws at the Dodgers Stadium.

'Korean Night' is an event sponsored by Korea Tourism Organization. Dodgers will give away RHJ's bobble head to 50,000 attendees and PCH will throw the first pitch to encourage the junior players. At the event, promotion ads for tourism in Korea as well as taekwondo performance will be shown, and sweepstakes event for free flight tickets will also take place.
