김창완(김): 최근에 만난 뮤지션이나, 같이 작업한 건 없나? 

선우정아(선): 가장 최근은 용화씨랑, 정용화씨랑 만난게 최근이었구요. 그게 좀 많이 새로운 콜라보레이션이었어서, 저한테는. 그게 좀 아직까지 울림이 있는 것 같아요.

김: 용화는 눈이 크잖아요, 이렇게.

선: 네. 눈만 큰가요? 그냥 다 훤칠하잖아요.

김: 어어.ㅎㅎㅎ 용화는 전화도 안하네, 요새. 참.

선: 하하하하하

김: 뭐, 매일 놀러올것 같이 그러더니. 허. 용화는 정리를 잘하는 편인것 같아요.

선: 네. 용화씨가 되게...의문의 1패를..ㅎㅎㅎ

김: 용화랑 작업하면서 뭐가 제일 재밌었어요?

선: 일단, 용화씨가 그런 성격인 줄은 모르니까, 당연히 만나보지 않았으니까. 너무 밝고, 진짜 에너자이저란 단어가 너무 잘 어울리는 사람인거예요. 그렇게 많은 스케줄에도 불구하고, 자기가 그 현장의 분위기를 밝게 이끌어가고, 또 어린...저보다도 어린데도. 그런 부분에 대해서 되게 좋은 기운을 많이 받았고. 좀 놀라기도 했고.

김: 그렇지. 용화한테 또 놀란게. 이렇게 하다가 걔가 사투리 하지 않아요?

선: 네네, 가끔씩. ㅎㅎ 나오더라구요.

김: 그러면 이렇게...멋있는 거기서 이렇게 나올때 좀.ㅎㅎㅎㅎ

선: 편안했어요. 그래서 마음의 부담이 좀 덜어지고, 좋더라구요.

김: ㅎㅎ

선: 노래도 너무 시원하게 잘하고. 약간 락적인 느낌의 곡이었는데, 그냥 까랑까랑하게 한번에 나오고 그래서, 그런 점도 되게 놀랐어요. 좀 이렇게, 피곤하고 하니까 되게 오래 걸릴 줄 알았는데, 되게 금방 금방 넘어가고. 

김: 사람이 참 시원시원해요. 그런거 보면. 

선: 네.

김: 시원시원한게 근데 전화좀 하고 그래야하는데.

선: 하하하하하.

KCW: Is there a musician or someone that you collaborated with recently?

SWJA: Most recently it was with Yonghwa, Jung Yonghwa-ssi.  That was a very new type of collaboration for me. I think it still has this resonation within me.

K: Yonghwa has such big eyes, like this.

S: Right. Not just the eyes, he’s dashing in every way.

K: Right. hehehe. Yonghwa doesn’t even call these days, man.

S: hahahahaha

K: He seemed like he would come by every day. Hhhn. I think YH tends to tidy things up very well. 

(*KCW's lightheartedly joking; before this, they were discussing her new song which is about not being able to let go of things on one’s mind and keeping feelings lingering)

S: Yeah… hahaha (*a new slang phrase, difficult to trans^^;;)

K: What was the most interesting part of working with Yonghwa?

S: Well, I didn’t know Yonghwa-ssi had that kind of personality. I mean, of course because I hadn’t met him before. He’s such a cheerful person, the word “energizer” fits him so well. Despite having a very hectic schedule, he leads the atmosphere of the place to be very positive. He’s even younger than I am. I received great energy from him in that regard. I was surprised quiet a bit, too.

K: Right. Another thing that surprised me about YH. He’d be like this and suddenly speak in dialect, doesn’t he?

S: Yes, sometimes. hehe. It would come out.

K: He’s so handsome and when he speaks in dialect, that’s like..

S: It made things comfortable. That took the pressure off of my mind. It was nice.

K: hehe

S: He sings so well, in such a refreshing way. It was a song with a rocky feel to it, and (the voice) just came out very sharp, at once. That surprised me a lot too. He was tired, so I thought it would take a while, but it was done in a flash.

K: He’s so spirited.

S: Right.

K: So spirited, but he needs to give me a call.

S: Hahahaha.
