주류와 비주류 아티스트의 특별한 만남

발표하는 작품마다 좋은 평가를 받는 인디 신의 특급 싱어송라이터와 인기 아이돌 밴드 리드 싱어의 만남으로 선우정아와 정용화의 협업은 뜨거운 관심을 불러일으켰다. 둘은 기계적으로 합창만 한 것이 아니라 서로 작사와 작곡, 연주를 공유하고 분담하는 유기적인 작업을 완수했다. 이것이 좋은 양분이 돼서 방송에서도 단단한 공연을 보여 줬다.

둘이 프로젝트로 선보인 '입김 (Hello)'과 '불꽃놀이' 무대는 두말할 필요 없이 훌륭하다. 여기에 더해 이야기를 나누는 중에 정용화는 선우정아의 '봄처녀'를, 선우정아는 정용화의 '마일리지 (Mileage)'를 부르는 모습도 무척 인상적이다. 서로에 대한 애정과 이해를 확인시켜 주는 공연이었으며, 색다른 맛을 나타낸, 자투리이지만 진귀한 퍼포먼스이기도 했다.

Sunwoo JungA and Jung Yonghwa: an encounter of indie scene's top singer-songwriter whose releases are always acclaimed, and a popular idol band's lead singer. Their collaboration had brought out heated attention. The two did not simply sing together mechanically. They completed an organic work that shared lyric-writing, composing, and instrumental recording. This turned into fertile nutrient for their sturdy performance on the broadcast.

The stages "Hello" and "Fireworks" that they showcased as part of their project are, needless to say, outstanding. In addition to this, the performances of Sunwoo JungA's "Spring girl" by Jung Yonghwa and Jung Yonghwa's "Mileage" by Sunwoo JungA during their conversation are also very impressive. It affirmed their affection and understanding toward one another. Though short, they were precious performances that demonstrated something different.
