씨엔블루 'Can’t Stop', 러시아서도 직진! ‘봄에 완벽히 어울리는 앨범’ Favorable Reviews from Russia - "Perfect Album for Spring"

씨엔블루(정용화 이종현 강민혁 이정신)의 앨범 ‘Can’t Stop’이 동유럽 러시아에서도 호평을 얻고 있다.

11일 러시아 포털 사이트에는 씨엔블루 새 앨범 ‘Can’t Stop’에 관한 칼럼이 게재되었다. 

러시아 ‘K Plus magazine’은 ‘씨엔블루가 또 한번 자신들만의 음악 색깔을 냈다(CNBLUE once again manage to stay recognizable with the first chords)’며 “늦겨울과 이른 봄의 마음 상태를 완벽하게 표현한 앨범(CNBLUE’s 5th mini album is a perfect representation of late winter/early spring state of mind)”이라고 말했다. 

특히 타이틀곡 ‘Can’t Stop’에 대해서는 “슬픈 발라드를 예고하듯 느리고 쓸쓸한 멜로디로 시작하지만 노래가 진행될수록 놀랍도록 흥미로운 반전-달콤한 긍정의 기운이 펼쳐진다.(starting with a slow, down hearted melody that promises a sorrowful love ballad, but as the verse progresses and breaks into a much more optimistic chorus, the song turns out to be a surprisingly sweet and dynamic music piece with a happy end feel in it)”고 평했다. 

정용화가 작사 작곡한 ‘Can’t Stop’은 씨엔블루만의 색깔이 잘 드러난 브릿 팝 기반의 하이브리드 록으로 국내뿐 아니라 해외에서도 높은 음악적 평가를 받고 있다. 음원 발표와 동시에 미국 빌보드를 비롯, 중남미, 스칸디나비아 반도 등에서도 호평을 받으며 주목을 끌었다.

한편, 씨엔블루는 자작곡으로 꽉 찬 국내 다섯 번째 앨범 ‘Can’t Stop’으로 국내 활동에 돌입했으며, 4월에는 여섯 번째 국내 단독 콘서트를 펼친다.
