Music - 【E】YB, 정용화와 콜라보…록밴드 선후배의 만남 YB to Collaborate with Jung Yonghwa

YB와 바비킴이 함께 하는 이색 콜라보레이션 콘서트 '동·시·상·영[冬詩相盈]'(이하 '동시상영')의 YB 무대에 M.I.B 강남에 이어 또 한 명의 스페셜 게스트로 씨엔블루의 정용화가 출연한다.

평소 인터뷰마다 롤모델로 생각하는 존경하는 선배로 늘 YB를 꼽았던 후배 정용화와 변함없이 씨엔블루에게 애정 어린 응원과 관심을 보여온 선배 윤도현의 만남은 한국 대표 록밴드 선후배팀의 대표 보컬리스트가 함께 하는 것이기에 그 의미가 남다르다.

윤도현은 씨엔블루를 일컬어 ‘진정한 밴드가 되기 위해 끊임없이 발전하고 노력하는 후배들’이라며 치켜세우며 갑작스런 게스트 제의에도 불구하고 그 자리에서 바로 출연을 결정한 정용화에게 감사의 인사를 전했다. 정용화 역시 "학창시절 YB 선배님들의 공연을 보면서 나도 꼭 저런 아티스트가 되고 싶다고 꿈꿨다. 이렇게 선배님과 한 무대에 설 수 있다는 것이 정말 행복하다"고 설렘 가득한 소감을 전했다.

록 음악의 대표주자 YB와 소울의 대부로 불리는 바비킴의 만남으로 시선을 모으고 있는 콘서트 '동시상영'은 오는 12월 20일 대전을 시작으로 24일 대구, 25일 부산에서 공연 후 27일과 28일 양일간 서울 경희대 평화의 전당에서 열린다. 이중 27일 공연에는 강남이, 28일 공연에는 정용화가 게스트로 출연해 오직 ‘동시상영’에서만 만날 수 있는 특별한 무대를 선보일 예정이다.

On the stage of YB and Bobby Kim’s collaboration concert ‘Dong.Shi.Sang.Yung’, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa will make an appearance as a guest, following M.I.B’s Kangnam.

This encounter between Jung Yonghwa, who has always mentioned YB as the role-model whom he respects in his interviews, and Yoon Dohyun, who has tirelessly supported and showed affectionate interest in CNBLUE, is especially meaningful as they are the vocalists of senior and junior bands that represent Korea.

Praising CNBLUE, Yoon Dohyun said, “They are hubaes who try hard and endlessly develop themselves in order to become a true band.” He thanked Jung Yonghwa for accepting the unexpected offer right away. Jung Yonghwa also relayed his excitement, “Watching YB sunbaenims’ performances as a kid, I’ve always dreamed of becoming artists like them. I’m really happy to be able to stand on the same stage as the sunbaenims.”
