Does anyone know who the singer is? I hope all this is legal and Yong Hwa is getting his royalties. Otherwise, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

To be honest I can't get used to the singer's voice and the lyrics, guess the original is just too perfect for me. But for him to use the melody is a testament that it's a good composition and at least Yong Hwa is credited for being the composer, just hope royalties are being paid to Yong Hwa.

Regardless the royality right, a song pick for remake is considered good, isn't it? If FNC is keen to enter China market, they should help with rewrite of lyrics and let YH sings it.

The Mainland Chinese fans actually hate that the song was rewritten like that.
I don't see the need to rewrite the lyrics to "enter" the China market. The k albums have all been released in Taiwan just the way as they are. They topped the charts and all. It's not that the Taiwan fans understand Korean better than the mainland ones.
I heard the k album "Present" will be officially released in mainland China soon. -
My Point view, songs with Chinese lyrics will be better welcome in Chinese Speaking Nations. It may easier get aware by non-fans.Anyway, do hope FNC look into this rewrite matter.

Downloading of the ringstone of the song needs 2 yuan(RMB). Think FNC should investigate this commericial use.

The melody is so beautiful ... YH's composition is awesome. I still prefer YH's soulful rendition of the song.

Sorry but the voice is not sitting too well. Doesnt do much justice to the composition at all...IF this is legit, think the company gotta be more stringent on who gets yong's songs.
