(서울=뉴스1스포츠) 이경남 기자 = 밴드 씨엔블루가 9월 발매를 목표로 앨범 작업 중이다.
24일 복수의 가요계 관계자는 "씨엔블루가 9월 정규앨범으로 컴백한다. 현재 앨범 막바지 작업 중이며, 정용화의 자작곡이 타이틀로 결정됐다. 디스코 느낌을 가미해 세련된 분위기를 주는 록"이라고 전했다.
씨엔블루의 이번 신보는 지난 해 2월 발매된 국내 미니앨범 '캔트스톱(Can't Stop)' 이후 1년 7개월만에 발매되는 것으로, 정용화를 비롯해 이종현 등 멤버들의 자작곡도 수록된다.
씨엔블루는 그간 개인활동과 해외 활동에 주력했다. 먼저 정용화는 첫 번째 솔로앨범 '어느 멋진날' 발매 후 솔로 아시아 투어를 펼쳤다. 이종현은 KBS2 '오렌지 마말레이드'와 KBS2 '두근두근 인도', MBC '우리 결혼했어요' 등 드라마와 예능을 오가며 활발히 활동을 이어가고 있으며, 이정신은 드라마 '고맙다, 아들아'를 통해 연기자로서의 입지를 다졌다. 또 강민혁은 MBC '나 혼자 산다'와 KBS '우리동네 예체능'에 출연하며 반전 매력을 선보이고 있다.
CNBLUE to return in September with JYH’s Composition
Band CNBLUE is working on their album to be released in September.
Multiple industry insiders revealed that “CNBLUE will make a comeback with a full album in September. As of now, the album is in the final process of completion, and Jung Yonghwa’s composition has been determined as the title track. It’s a rock tune with trendy disco elements.”
CNBLUE’s new release comes a year and 7 months after their last domestic mini album, “Can’t Stop,” which includes compositions by members Jung Yonghwa and Lee Jonghyun.
CNBLUE has focused on individual and overseas promotions. First, Jung Yonghwa undertook a solo Asia tour upon releasing his first solo album, "One Fine Day". (rest on each member's individual activities)
