Jung Yong-hwa successfully ends first solo concert in Shanghai; fans show love with card stunt!
Jung Yong-hwa has successfully ended his first solo concert, ‘One Fine Day’ in Shanghai.
Jung Yong-hwa mesmerized over 4,000 fans at his first concert ‘One Fine Day’ which was held on March 22 at Shanghai Grand Stage, China.
He started the concert with ‘Even Without You(translated title)’, which was then followed by the title ‘One Fine Day’, ‘Checkmate, ‘Wonkiok’, Mileage’, and ‘Cruel Memories(translated title), which are songs from his first solo album. He has performed to them for the first time before the Chinese audience. The local fans were mesmerized to see him perform in person.
Moreover, the fans showed an enthusiastic response to the singer, who has been maintaining tremendous popularity in China, by topping the 21st(November 17-23, 2014) and 37th(March 9-15) period of the Gaon Weibo chart.
The local fans sang along to the voice of Jung Yong-hwa, in perfect Korean. When Jung Yong-hwa went down the stage after the last song, they encored him by singing ‘Because I Miss You’ from the OST of television series ‘Heartstrings’. Also, while Jung Yong-hwa was singing ‘Star You’, a digital singer known as the song for fans, the fans expressed their love and support for Jung with a card stunt that said, ‘You Are the Reason Why I Am Here’.
Jung Yong-hwa has become one of the most renowned Korean singers in China. He grabbed Hottest Korean Artist award and ‘Gaon Weibo Chart’s Most Influential Korean Star award at ‘Hong Kong Weibo Star Awards’ that was held on March 20. Meanwhile, he is planning to hold an encore performance in Tokyo on March 28. Then he is scheduled to proceed with his tour in Bangkok of Thailand, Beijing, Guangzhou of China, Singapore and finally, Taipei of Taiwan.
