최근 ‘작곡가 쏠림 현상’이라며 한 작곡가가 가요계를 독식한다는 류의 기사들이 쏟아졌다. 물론 한 작곡가가 가요계를 휩쓴다면 다양성의 부재가 우려된다. 하지만 예상과 달리 음원차트를 분석한 결과 가요계의 획일화에 대한 우려는 기우에 불과했다.

2014년 1월 첫 주부터 현재(5월 둘째 주)까지의 주간차트 상위, 즉 TOP10을 분석한 결과 제법 다양한 류의 작곡가들이 포진되어 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

이밖에도 (중략) 정용화(씨엔블루)-Heaven Light가 TOP10 진입 최다 횟수 작곡가 상위권에 들었다.

Recently, a flood of articles point to how one composer monopolizes the music industry. Certainly, if one composer is sweeping all the charts, it may threaten diversity. But upon analysis of the digital chart, it seems an unnecessary concern. 

By examining the top 10 rankings of weekly charts between the first week of January, 2014 to present (second week of May), it can be discerned that quite numerous composers have made their marks.

Also, ... Jung Yonghwa-Heaven Light were included among the songwriters who most entered the Top 10 (weekly) ranking on the digital charts (4 times).
