[enews24 이경남 기자] LA다저스 류현진 공식 테마곡 '류캔 두잇'(Ryu can do it) 음원이 28일 정오 공개된다.
'류캔 두잇'은 씨엔블루 정용화 자작곡으로 평소 류현진 선수가 즐겨 듣던 씨엔블루 노래 'One time'에 원곡자 정용화가 직접 가사를 개사해 만들었다. 이 곡은 이미 4월부터 류현진이 홈경기에 등판할 때마다 LA 다저 스타디움에 울려 퍼지고 있으며, 정식 음원 발매 소식에 많은 야구 팬들은 물론 가요 팬들의 기대 또한 높아지고 있다.
류현진의 이름을 따 제목을 붙인 류현진 테마곡 '류캔 두잇'은 곡 초반의 아리랑 멜로디와 노래 전체에 어우러진 아리랑을 테마로 한 기타 리프가 더해져 한국의 선율을 잘 살린 곡이다. 가사 속 등장하는 'Mr. 몬스터'는 류현진을 뜻한다.
특히 류현진 선수는 자신의 테마곡에 대해 "정말 마음에 든다. 출퇴근 때 마다 차에서 들으면서 따라 부르고 있다"고 소감을 전해왔다. 이 곡은 올 시즌 내내 류현진 선수가 등판하는LA다저 스타디움에 울려 퍼질 예정이다.
한편 정용화는 27일 오후 6시 30분(현지시간) LA 다저스 야구장에서 개최되는 'Korea Night'에서 LA다저스와 신시내티 레즈 경기 전 애국가를 제창할 예정으로 이 날 행사에는 한국인 최초 메이저리거 박찬호와 LA 다저스에서 활약 중인 '코리안 몬스터' 류현진이 참석한다.

LA Dodger Ryu Hyunjin's official theme song "Ryu Can Do It" will be released digitally on the 28th at noon.
"Ryu Can Do It" is a self-composition by CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa. He himself rewrote the lyrics to one of Ryu Hyunjin's favorite songs by CNBLUE called "One Time". This song has already been played at the LA Dodgers Stadium since April when RHJ pitches during home games. Many baseball fans as well as music fans are highly anticipating the official release of the digital single.
Ryu Hyunjin's theme song "Ryu can do it," titled after his name, nicely harmonizes the melody and guitar riff with motif from "Arirang (Korean folk song)". "Mr. Monster" in the lyrics represent Ryu Hyunjin.
On his theme song, Ryu commented, "I really like it. Every time I come and go from work, I listen to it in my car and sing along." This song will be played throughout the season at the LA Stadium when Ryu pitches.
On another note, Jung Yonghwa will sing the Korean national anthem at the LA Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds game on the 27th at 6:30 pm. At the event, the first Korean major leaguer PCH and 'Korean Monster' excelling at LAD, Ryu Hyunjin will also attend.
