Ticketing site, SISTIC, crashed on March 5 following overwhelming response for Jung Yonghwa’s upcoming concert in Singapore.
According to the concert’s promoter, DATZENTERTAINMENT, the site was disabled for almost an hour after fans rushed online to secure their tickets when public sales opened at 10am.
Category 1 tickets, which are priced at $288, were sold out in less than five minutes, and 50 percent of the tickets to Yonghwa’s first solo concert in Singapore were completely snapped up within the first hour of public sales.
The CNBLUE frontman did equally well for his Bangkok stop – selling out Category 1 tickets in five minutes after sales commenced on March 4.
Yonghwa will hold his first Southeast Asia show in Bangkok before arriving here on May 30.
