'MBC 가요대제전' 씨엔블루, 자작곡 '레이디' 국내최초 공개 CNBLUE, First Korean Performance of Self-Composition "Lady" at MBC GDJJ
씨엔블루가 'MBC 가요대제전'에 출연해 특별한 무대를 꾸민다.
31일 오후 8시50분부터 일산 MBC 드림센터에서 펼쳐지는 '2013 MBC 가요대제전'에서는 씨엔블루가 2014년 청마의 해를 맞아 말들과 함께 하는 특별 무대를 선보인다.
앞서 씨엔블루는 과천 경마공원에서 진행된 'MBC 가요대제전' 사전 녹화를 마친 상태로, 말들과 함께 하는 특별 무대로 볼거리를 준비했다.
또한 이번 무대에서 정용화 자작곡 '레이디' 한국어 버전이 국내 최초 공개될 예정으로 '레이디' 외에도 올 한해 큰 사랑을 받았던 '아임 쏘리(I'm Sorry)' 무대도 펼쳐진다.
'레이디'는 지난 11월26일 발매한 씨엔블루 첫 베스트 앨범 '프레젠트(PRESENT)'의 타이틀곡으로, 일본 발표 자작곡 10곡을 엄선하여 멤버들이 직접 한국어로 개사한 이 앨범은 현재 일본과 대만 등 아시아 각국 차트에서 연일 1위 행진을 이어가고 있다.
한편 MBC '가요대제전'은 이날 오후 8시50분부터 280분간 이어지며 경기도 일산 MBC 드림센터에서 개최된다.

I was disappointed that Present wasn't promoted properly. The songs in this album have the potential of appealing to a wider audience. I'm glad that , at least, Lady will be heard by the general public. And I agree with you that, most likely, it's YH's efforts that made it possible at all.

"Lady" could have been a big hit in Korea if if were a title song in their Korean album. I hope it receives some of the attention it deserves with this introduction on a Korean network. If we can credit YH for this introduction, I can't help but thinking that I am seeing more of his assertive side lately. This and the comment on their upcoming Korean album, and other inexplicable changes in his general demeanor.... It may be just my wishful thinking that's playing a trick on my otherwise rational(?) mind^^.
The only different line: In addition to "Lady", "I'm sorry", which received great love this year, will also be performed.
I'm especially touched by the performance of Lady in GDJJ, since it's not a song that was promoted in Korea (other than the endless fansigns that only served to rip off fans). During the prerecording/mini live of SBS GDJ, YH had asked fans "Which song do you want to hear?", and fans yelled "Lady!" Back then, he said the Korean version wasn't prepared, which means it wasn't planned for performances at yr-end shows. But seeing that in mere 4 days, it was included in the lineup of MBC's GDJJ, I can't help but feel utmost gratitude to YH for managing that song's inclusion into the end of the year show. Kind of worried about how it will turn out with horses and not fans, but still very very touched by what he made possible. I may sound like I'm guessing overboard with crediting "YH", but we all know how much "promotion" it received, so it's most unlikely that FNC pushed for Lady's performance at GDJJ.
