마지막날 LAKE STAGE에 두번째로 등장한 것은, 모국인 한국과 일본은 물론, 이제는 아시아를 두루 걸쳐 절대적인 인기를 얻고있는 4피스 밴드 씨엔블루다. 연기를 피운 무대위에 4명이 자리를 잡고, "ROCK IN JAPAN!!"이라고 씩씩한 목소리를 한 방 날린다. 정용화 (G&Vo)와 이종현(G&Vo)의 아찔한 보컬 릴레이로 이끄는 빈틈없는 영어가사의 R&B넘버 "Where you are"부터 시작. 종현의 전광석화같은 기타 솔로로 끝맺어지고, 다음 곡을 향해갈 즈음 "Only music, 준비되었나요-!?"라는 용화의 관객동원은 이미 경지에 오른 수준. 이정신(Ba)의 나긋한 연주와 강민혁(Dr)의 와일드한 4박자 비트를 타고 일어나는 콜 & 리스폰스(주고받기)에 열기가 수직상승, "조금 이르지만, 분위기 띄워볼까요!"라고 종현이 고한 다음 넘버부터는, 훌륭하게 박수와 합창이 추가되어갔다.

"이번 이벤트를 위해 한국에서 왔습니다, CNBLUE입니다! 역시 음악은 좋군요! (종현)" "여러분, 더우세요? 더 뜨거워집시다. 지금까지는 워밍업이예요. 앞으로가 진짜 CNBLUE입니다. 오늘은 일도 없고 다들 사장님도 안계시니까, 마음껏 즐겨봅시다! (용화)" 라고 일본어로 말걸어주는 것도 정말 재미있다. 종현은 놀랄만큼 유창하고, 용화도 "이거, 맥주 아니예요, 차예요. 차 같은 느낌으로 가볼까요" 또는 "커피샵 어디예요?"등 명언을 연발해준다. 공연 후반은 가벼우면서도 진지한 댄스록을 연달아 두었고, 분위기도 입담으로 훌륭히 띄웠다. "I'm sorry"를 지나 절정에서는, 팔세토 코러스를 곁들여 여지없이 춤추게 하는 최신 싱글 "Lady"다. 오는 8월 28일에는 새 앨범 "What turns you on?"도 발매될 예정인데, 이들의 한층 가열찬 진격을 참을 수 없이 기대하게 만드는 퍼포먼스였다. (小池宏和)

The second appearance on the last day's LAKE STAGE was CNBLUE, a 4-piece band popular not only in their home country Korea and Japan but all over Asia. On the stage where smoke arose, the four got into their positions and stoutly shouted "ROCK IN JAPAN!!" They began with "Where you are," an R&B number in flawless English lyrics led by Jung Yonghwa (G&Vo) and Lee Jonghyun (G&Vo)'s dizzying vocal relay. When it ended in JH's lightning-fast guitar solo, on their way to the next song, Yonghwa's interaction with the audience is on another level as he said, "Only music, are you ready-!?" Call and response rides on Lee Jungshin (Ba)'s tender play and Kang Minhyuk (dr)'s wild 4 beats, heating up the mood exponentially. Following JH's "It's a little early, but let's bring up the atmosphere!" claps and sing-along were added exquisitely.

"We came from Korea for this event, we're CNBLUE! Indeed, music is great! (JH)" "Everyone, are you hot? Let's be hotter. It was warm-up until now. Starting now is the real CNBLUE. There's no work today, and your bosses aren't here, so let's have fun to the maximum! (Yonghwa)" Their Japanese comments are really interesting. JH's surprisingly fluent, and YH continued to make quotes such as "This is not beer. It's tea. Let's go with this feeling of tea" or "Where's the coffee shop?" The latter half of the show placed series of light yet serious dance rock, further heated up nicely by their talks. In the climax following "I'm sorry" was the newest single "Lady", decorated with falsetto chorus that irresistably induces dancing from everyone. On this coming Aug. 28, they're planning to release a new album "What turns you on?" I could not help but anticipate their fiercer advance from this performance.(小池宏和)
