# 박수정의 노래 셋, 씨엔블루 ‘도미노(Domino)’

트랙리스트를 보다가 한 번, 또 순서대로 듣다가 한 번 멈칫하게 될 때가 있다. 모두 ‘도미노(Domino)’란 곡이 주인공이다. ‘도미노’는 씨엔블루 음악이 아닌 새로운 EDM 아티스트의 신곡처럼 들릴 정도로 기존 씨엔블루 음악과 가장 이질적인 느낌을 지녔다. 몽환적으로 부르는 정용화의 보컬이 계속 이어지다가 마지막에 마마무 휘인의 여성스러우면서 청아한 보컬이 흘러나오면서 절묘한 음양의 조화를 이룬다. 씨엔블루 최초 피처링곡이기도 하다. 정용화는 쇼케이스 이번 앨범에 대해 “기존에 우리가 해왔던 사운드와 다르게 대중성과 우리가 하고 싶은 음악을 결합시켜 봤다”고 설명했다. 아마 ‘도미노’는 이번 앨범 취지에 가장 걸맞은 곡이 아닐까. 정용화의 음악적 스펙트럼이 이렇게까지 넓었는지 새삼 깨닫게 된다.

Park Sujung's song no.3: CNBLUE "Domino"

Once while looking over the tracklist, and once more while listening to the album in order, I stopped for a moment. Both times, it was the track "Domino." Domino almost sounds like a new EDM artist's song, not CNBLUE's, having the most disparate vibe compared to the previous songs by CNBLUE. Jung Yonghwa's dreamy vocal continues until the end where Mamamoo's Wheein enters with her feminine and lucid vocals, creating an exquisite yin-yang harmony. It is also CNBLUE's very first song with a featuring artist. Jung Yonghwa at the showcase explained, "Different from the music that we used to create, we tried merging what would be popular and what we would like play." Perhaps "Domino" is a song that suits the best for this purpose of the album. It makes one realize once again how wide Jung Yonghwa's musical spectrum is.
