【E】Kstyle 씨엔블루, 데뷔 5주년을 맞아 신보 발매 CNBLUE Celebrates 5th Anniversary with New Album 2016.10.14

-The lead track “Glory days” is a very positive song, listening to it makes me happy.

YH: It does, doesn’t it? The message is that “I want to continue to spend dreamy times with you, from the past to the future.” The track is written for those of you who support and maintain us.

-In the “Glory days” music video, child actor Nam Dareum appears. He’s been in many K-dramas and is a familiar face to the readers of K-style. This is the second time he’s starring in your music video, following your Korean release “You’re so fine.” It’s a fantastical film.

YH: I’m surrounded by multicolor, which expresses that there is are just one but many dreams. It leads to Dareum’s scenes: as he wanders in contemplation, he’s led by a butterfly which symbolizes his dream and begins an adventure in the woods.

-Now that I’ve listened to the story, I understand the MV better. Starting with “Glory days,” the album lists 10 tracks. What is your favorite song?

YH: I’d say it’s the 6th track, “Royal Rumble.” Though the lyrics sing of my dream, it’s a rhythmical song that naturally makes you want to move your body. I’m not just saying that it has a catchy melody, but you’re left with something lingering behind. You can be relaxed and imagine things while listening to this song.

-Starting on Nov. 2’s Makuhari Messe hall to Nov. 30’s Budokan, a month-long “CNBLUE 5th Anniversary Arena Tour 2016 - Our Glory Days” will be nationally held. Since this is the 5th anniversary, may I expect something that will surpass Yonghwa’s shocking “Wake up” dance?

YH: I’ll try my best (laughs). I wanna try something special. I mean, not just my dance (laughs). I mean things like new tracks, arrangements, and stage sets. I’m thinking of what will make our fans happy…anyhow, please look forward to it!

-On Dec. 10-11, the usual “2016 FNC Kingdom in Japan - Creepy Nights” will also be held. What kind of performance will CNBLUE show us?

YH: I'm coming up with the setlist that will have the (audience) recognize who the KING is. A killer setlist! Because those who are coming to Kingdom are not just our fans, we must compactly show our best, right? Although we're struggling over many things, we’ll showcase our top-notch live!
