연출노트

보편적으로 ‘웨딩’이라는 단어를 접했을 때, 흔히들 행복하고 아름다운 결혼식을 가장 먼저 떠올리기 마련이다.

본 뮤직비디오는 결혼식이라는 한가지 특정 상황에서 나아가, ‘사랑’이라는 집약체에 근원을 둔 여러 감정, 관계, 이상, 현실, 등을 ‘웨딩’이라는 키워드를 통해 풀이하려고 한다. 이를 큰범주로보면, <연애-결혼-결혼이후의삶>으로 나눌 수 있으며, 영상에서는 이같은 주제들을 각각의 콘셉트가 녹아 있는 공간(방)으로 분리/구성할 계획이다. 마치 퍼즐처럼 흩어져있는 다양한 사랑의 형태를, CNBLUE의 웨딩송을 통해 다시금 ‘결혼’이라는 환희의 순간으로 모이도록 한다.

공간설정

세트장 한가운데에 큰 원형 테이블을 제작한 뒤, 이를 3 등분으로나눈다음,위에서 언급한 세가지 콘셉트의 방을 구성한다.각 방은 뮤직비디오 구성에 따라 맴버들이 합주를 하는 연주 무대가 되기도 하고, 맴버들과 다른 구성원들이 이야기를 풀어가는 설정 방이 되기도 한다. 하나의 무대에 다양한 설정들이 공존하면서, 결국 영상의 모든 이미지들과 이야기는 CNBLUE의 웨딩송으로 집결 되는 연결성을 가지게 된다. 마치 흩어져있던 이야기의 퍼즐들이 하나의 그림으로 완성되 듯, 웨딩과 관련된 다양한 감정과 상황들이 한데 모이게 보이도록 하는게 본공간의 목적이다.무대를 위에서 바라봤을때 마치 웨딩케익을 연상케하는 이 무대는, CNBLUE의 웨딩송에 걸맞는 이미지를 제공한다.

Directing notes

When one encounters the word "wedding", the first image that comes to most people's mind would be one of happy and beautiful wedding ceremony.

This music video goes beyond one specific situation and interprets the keyword "wedding" through multiple concepts such as emotions, relations, ideal, and reality based on the complex notion of "love." Viewed from a broader perspective, it can be categorized into "romance/marriage/life after marriage," and in the video, these themes are structured into separate spaces(rooms). Through CNBLUE's wedding song, we aggregated the various different shapes of love akin to "puzzle" pieces into the exhilarating moment of "marriage."

Spatial setting

We produced a large circular table in the middle of the set, divided it into three, and formed three rooms based on aforementioned concepts. Depending on the music video structure, each room turns into a stage for performance where the members play their instruments, or a room of setting where members and others tell their story. On one stage, multiple plots exist together, so that all the images and stories in the video stay within the continuity of CNBLUE's wedding song. As the pieces of the story's puzzle fit together into one complete picture, the space is designed to combine many different emotions and situations related to wedding and show them in one setting. Seen from the top, the stage also reminds one of a wedding cake, providing a fitting image for CNBLUE's wedding song.
