시청률에 비례하지 않고 오직 배우들의 연기력으로 수상자를 선정하는 ‘K드라마 스타 어워즈’가 진행됐다.
기존의 시상식과 달리 배우들의 연기력 하나만을 놓고 평가하는 자리라 수상하는 이들의 감회가 남다른 자리다. 자리가 자리인 만큼 이날 시상식에는 연기력으로 연예계를 주름잡는 이들이 대거 등장, 눈길을 끌었다.
지상파 방송3사와 종합채널편성 4사, 케이블 채널 등 모든 드라마를 아우르는 이번 시상식에서 남자배우들의 선방이 이어졌다. 대상으로 SBS 드라마 ‘추적자’의 손현주가 최우수연기상으로 KBS ‘착한남자’의 송중기가 수상하면서 남자배우들의 전성시대를 예고한 것.
남자 배우들의 선방에 힘입어 이들의 패션 스타일까지 대중들의 눈을 사로잡았다. 남성들의 레드카펫이라 하면 보편적인 턱시도만 떠올렸던 과거와 달리 한층 다양해진 디자인과 컬러 등으로 레드카펫을 화려하게 수놓고 있다.

한류스타상을 받은 정용화는 짙은 블루 컬러의 패턴이 가미된 재킷을 선택했다. 기존의 남성들이 연출했던 스타일과는 판이하게 달라 큰 주목을 받았다. 색다른 패턴과 컬러의 선택은 아이돌의 패기를 보여주는 스타일이라 해도 과언이 아닐 정도. 이너로는 블랙 컬러의 셔츠와 타이를 선택해 다소 과한 스타일을 눌러 줬다.
