【E】 트위터리안은 정용화가 반갑다 Twitter users are Happy to see Jung Yonghwa
트위터리안이라면, 누구나 발견하는 한 장의 사진이 있다. 바로 정용화의 사진.
트위터 PC버전을 로그인하기 위해 들어가면, 정용화가 배우 우현,김선영과 함께 찍은 다정한 사진이 등장한다. 이는 정용화가 지난해 ‘삼총사’ 촬영 당시 극중 부모님 역할인 배우들과 찍은 사진이다. 이 사진은 매번 트위터 PC 로그인 화면에 등장해 항상 반갑게 미소 짓고 있다.
처음엔 정용화의 등장에 당황했다. 정용화를 팔로우하고 있는 상태이기 때문에 사용자 환경에 맞춰서 로그인 화면 배경이 선택되는 것인줄 혼자 이해했다. 그러나 정용화의 등장이 문득 궁금해진 것은 MBC ‘그녀는 예뻤다’의 한 장면 때문이다. ‘그녀는 예뻤다’ 속 한 모니터 화면에서도 정용화가 등장한 것!! 혼자만의 일이 아니었다.
알고 보니 정용화는 모두의 컴퓨터에 나타났다. 우리나라뿐만이 아니었다. 전세계적인 현상이었다. 그래서 과감하게 트위터 측에 문의를 넣었다. 왜 정용화의 사진인가요?
트위터의 한 관계자는 “무작위로 사진 롤링을 하는데 정용화의 사진이 한복을 입고 있고, 한국적인 모습이어서 픽업을 하게 됐다”며 “트위터에 K-POP 팬들이 많은데 K-POP 가수들 계정 중에 한국을 잘 나타내는 사진이다. 한국 뿐만 아니라 세계에 롤링이 되는 사진이다”고 전했다.
궁금증이 조금 해소됐다. 1년 전 사진이 계속 반복되는 것이 심심한 감도 있지만, 덕분에 정용화가 ‘응답하라 1988′ 선우(고경표) 어머니와 1년 전 모자지간이었다는 것을 알게 됐다. 이참에 정용화가 한복 사진을 한 번 더 올려주는 것은 어떨까.

If you’re a twitter user, you must have discovered this photo. It's the shot of Jung Yonghwa.
Once you try to log-in through the PC version of twitter, you’ll see a hearty photo of Jung Yonghwa with actors Woo Hyun and Kim Sunyoung. This is a picture Jung took last year during the filming of “The Three Musketeers” with those who acted as his parents. This photo always greets twitter PC users with a welcoming smile.
At first, I was startled by Jung Yonghwa’s appearance. Because I’m following Jung Yonghwa, I understood it as predetermined log-in background suited for the user’s interface. But I was curious of his appearance due to a scene in MBC’s “She was Pretty.” Jung Yonghwa also appeared in a monitor screen in the drama!! It wasn’t just showing up to me.
Turns out, Jung Yonghwa was on everyone’s computer. Not just Korea, but it was a worldwide phenomenon. I boldly asked Twitter: why Jung Yonghwa’s photo?
An associate at Twitter relayed, “We were randomly rolling photos and Jung Yonghwa’s photo had hanbok (*traditional Korean attire) and had Korean look to it, so we picked it up. There are many K-pop fans on twitter, and we thought that it represents Korea well among the accounts of K-pop singers. It’s not only serviced in Korea but around the world.”
It quenched my curiosity a little. It might seem a bit repetitive that the same photo is shown for over a year, but thanks to the photo, I learned that Jung Yonghwa was the son of “Reply 1988” Sunwoo’s mother a year ago. Yonghwa, how's posting another hanbok photo?

Yeheeyy Dalhyang beat JungYonghwa!! He has been around the world!!! Luuuuv it! Lol!! I hope he continues to go around the world via twitter! He certainly upgraded his transport mode from that twin horse to tweety bird!!!
