‘2018 평창 동계 패럴림픽대회’ 조직위원회 관계자는 31일 비즈엔터에 “정용화가 최근 군 입대를 발표한 이후 자숙하는 시간을 보내고 있어, 향후 전면적인 홍보 활동은 하지 않을 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
단 홍보대사 지위는 유지된다. 관계자는 “(특혜 입학 의혹이) 홍보대사 해촉 사유는 되지 않는 것으로 보고 지위를 유지하기로 했다”면서 “그동안 홍보 활동을 해온 것에 대해서 감사하게 생각한다”고 덧붙였다.

However, his position as the ambassador will remain as before.
