씨엔블루 정용화가 부산 원아시아(One-Asia) 페스티벌 홍보대사로 활동한다.

정용화는 오는 21일 부산 시청에서 서병수 부산시장으로부터 위촉패를 받고 2016 부산 원아시아 페스티벌 홍보 활동에 박차를 가할 예정이다.

부산시 관계자는 “이번 행사를 통해 아시아 대표 공연과 예술을 한류와 묶어 새로운 패러다임의 범국가적 대표 관광브랜드를 육성하고자 한다”며 “중국 내 한류문화 확산에 큰 역할을 하고 있는 부산 출신의 아시아 대표 한류스타 정용화를 페스티벌의 얼굴로 위촉한다”고 밝혔다.

특히 정용화는 중국 최고 인기 예능프로그램인 후난위성TV ‘쾌락대본영’ 부산 특집편 스페셜 게스트로 참여해 부산을 직접 소개하며 고향에 대한 애정을 한껏 드러냈다. 또 한국 아티스트 최초로 중국 시트콤 ‘초사남사(Diors Man)’에 출연했으며 2015 중국 가온웨이보 차트에서 43주 동안 1위를 거머쥐는 등 한류문화를 대표하는 스타로 자리잡았다.

한편 정용화는 지난 9월 씨엔블루 정규 2집 ‘투게더(2gether)’로 컴백해 음악 프로그램 5관왕을 달성했으며 오는 24~25일 서울 잠실 실내체육관에서 라이브투어 ‘컴 투게더(COME TOGETHER)’를 개최한다.

CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa will become the ambassador of Busan's One Asia Festival.

On Oct. 21, Jung will receive his appointment plaque from the Busan Mayor Seo Byungsu, kickstarting his promotion of 2016 Busan One Asia Festival.

An associate of City of Busan revealed, "Through this event, we wish to bring Asia's representative shows and art forms together with Hallyu and foster a new paradigm for a pan-national brand for tourism. We are appointing Jung Yonghwa as the face of the festival, as he is the representative Hallyu star from Busan who has a great role in spreading Hallyu culture in China." 

Especially, Jung Yonghwa has participated as a special guest in the most popular Chinese TV variety show, "Happy Camp" to introduce Busan himself and thoroughly showcased his love for his hometown. Also, he appeared in the Chinese sitcom "Dior's Man" as a first Korean artist, and topped the 2015 Gaon Weibo chart for 43 weeks in a row, establishing himself as a representative Hallyu star. 

Moreover, Jung made a comeback in September with the second CNBLUE album "2gether" and accomplished 5 wins on music shows. On Oct. 24-25, he will hold a live tour "Come Together" at Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium.
