설 특집 파일럿 ‘신드롬맨-나만 그런가?’ MC 정용화가 극단적인 집돌이임을 고백했다.
설 연휴 마지막 날인 30일 오후 5시 50분 방송되는 KBS 2TV 설 파일럿 ‘신드롬맨-나만 그런가?’(이하 신드롬맨)에서 다정다감한 남친돌의 대명사 정용화의 ‘은밀한 심리’가 발가벗겨질 예정이다. 이와 함께 방송 최초로 정용화의 자택이 공개될 예정이어서 한층 관심이 집중된다.
‘신드롬맨’은 화제 속 스타와 그의 사생활을 탈탈 털어 분석하는 심리학 전문가, 그리고 4MC들의 '심리 끝장토크'. 심리 분석이라는 신선한 콘셉트와 김구라-김민종-김희철-정용화의 막강 MC 군단 그리고 ‘기행의 아이콘’ 최민수, ‘로마 공주’ 솔비가 게스트로 합류하면서 방송 전부터 뜨거운 화제를 불러모으고 있다.
최근 진행된 녹화에서는 게스트 최민수-솔비 뿐만 아니라 막내 MC 정용화의 특이행동에 대한 진단이 가감없이 펼쳐졌다. 정용화는 “나는 사람들과의 단절을 원한다. 일주일간 집에서 안 나올 때도 있다”고 고백해 모두를 경악케 했다. 더욱이 그는 “집에만 들어가면 로그아웃 되는 것 같다”면서 스스로 ‘로그아웃 신드롬’이라는 이름을 붙여, 그의 심리적 배경에 궁금증을 수직 상승시켰다.

그런가 하면 이날 정용화는 소파와 혼연일체의 모습을 보여주는가 하면, 절친의 전화조차 끊기도록 방치하는 등 범접할 수 없는 집돌이 클래스를 선보였다. 싹싹하고 사교적인 이미지의 대명사인 정용화의 이중생활(?)을 지켜본 김민종은 “외톨이가 괜히 나온 게 아니네”라며 혀를 내둘렀다는 전언이다.
이 같은 정용화의 ‘로그아웃 신드롬’에 대해 심리학 전문가를 비롯한 전 출연진들의 불꽃 튀는 설전이 펼쳐졌다고 전해지는 가운데, 정용화의 심리를 속속들이 파헤칠 ‘신드롬맨’ 본 방송에 기대감이 증폭된다.

KBS 2TV's pilot, scheduled to be broadcast on the last day of the New Year holidays on Jan 30th at 5:50 pm, will be revealing the "secret psychology" of Jung Yong Hwa. Attention is all the more focused as his home will also be released for the first time on TV.
"Syndrome Man" invites a psychology expert to analyze stars and their private lives, as well as initiates a "Psychological debate" among its four hosts. The fresh concept of psychological analysis, in addition to the powerful MC brigade of Kim Gura - Kim Minjong - Kim Heecheol - Jung Yonghwa, and the guests that include eccentric Icon Choi Minsoo and the "Roman Princess" Solbi are garnering hot attention before the broadcast.
In the recent recording, a no-holds-barred diagnosis of a particular behavior of maknae MC Jung Yong Hwa was unraveled. To everyone's shock, JYH confessed, "I want to be disconnected from people. Sometimes I wouldn't step outside my home for a week." He added, "It feels like I'm logging out the moment I enter my home." He called it "Logout Syndrome," raising curiosity about his psychological circumstances.
The panels also focused on Jung Yong Hwa's home. Aside from being an extreme hermit, there was another glaring scene stealer: his flashy, gold-studded interior setting. From gowns with golden embroidery to golden cups and pillows, the entire home was clad in gleaming golden items. As the panelists watched in awe. KHC lashed out, "Isn't this some show-off syndrome?"
On the other hand, JYH became one with his sofa, and would even let his best friend's phone to ring without an answer. On witnessing this "double life" of JYH, known so well for his friendly and polite image, KMJ was aghast and said, "I guess 'I'm a Loner' wasn't released out of nowhere."
On Jung's "Logout syndrome," the entire cast of panels including psychology experts initiated a full-blown debate. Expectations are high for the broadcast of "Syndrome Man" that will delve into Jung's mind.

I hope their judgement of his personality won't be too harsh. As someone who likes gold color, it's natural that he buys a lot of gold-colored stuff, doesn't mean he wants to show off.

I like gold/yellow colors. But It does not mean it's a show off. I like it bcz it is bright & happy color. During rainy ,or overcast day a splash of yellow makes things brighter like the sun shone even through the overcast dreary day. JYH's never a show off. One thing I admire about this guy is he likes certain things and he is loyal to it.

Actually I am glad he "logs out" at home ... it means there's an avenue where he can shut out the demands of his work and just take a rest to recharge. I think t's an exaggeration to call him a house hermit ... but I do feel he works too hard all the time. I don't call people a show-off if they enjoy the fruits of their labour. Of course I do hope he does have a social life (and love life) outside of work but.
