So charming. I love it that he was having such fun even if he barely understood what the others were saying.

Rough translations. I started to translate...but the show actually isn't too interesting in my opinion. Probably don't really need to know what they are saying as most of what they say isn't all that relevant anyway...just jokes and stuff. Not sure I'll complete the translations but figure I'd share what I started.

Hosts introduce themselves
Hosts talking about inviting CNBLUE as guests. Hosts think that among all the idol groups in S. Korea, it's hardest for CNBLUE since most groups are dance groups while CNBLUE is a band. Since the beginning of 2014, 41 rookie groups were introduced into the S. Korea entertainment scene.
Hosts talked about a side story of a fan of a previous S. Korean idol group invited to the show who climbed onto a car that belonged to the show. She jumped up and down in excitement, created a dent on the roof of the car. The fan told them that she will pay for the damages.

CNBLUE comes out.
CNBLUE members introduce themselves in Chinese.
Host: Hello everyone, I am a fan.
Host asks other host who is Korean to introduce himself. YH and him greet each other in Korean.
Host: A lot of groups have a certain trademark introduction.
Host: Like Super Junior (demonstrates), and also Big Bang (demonstrates). They have some kind of gesture.
Host: But they are especially simple. They simply bowed sincerely. And their group's name, is there anything special about it? CNBLUE?
Host: Does it stand for China Blue?
HOst: Please give us a brief explanation.
YH: CN is Code Name. Code Name Blue.
Host to Korean Host: Please translate.
Host: Yes, Code Name is...yes...it's like that.
Host: Code Name means "code" (in Chinese)
Host: It's like a password code.
Host: And each letter in BLUE represents a member.
HOst: So what do you think our code name should be? We should be called HAPPY.Example, I am H. I stand for Hold (kind of like holding down the fort)
Host: A, am I A? I should be S, for Short.
Host: A should be for Art, artist.
Host: He's U, for Ugly.
Host: No, he should be P for Power.
Host: I am Young.
Host: How about me?
Host: You are a "P" (in Chinese Pi I guess it's kind of like ass/fart...so him saying he is "p" (Pi) is like calling him an ass I think?)
Host: How can you say something like that to an older brother?
Host: Yes...P...Pig/
Host: No, P...for Pang (fat in Chinese).
Host: Stop messing around, that's not English.
Host: Let's chat with them. They are a pretty boy band. Some say they are a visual band, that that's how they became popular.
YH: (Referring to picture of him shown), that was when I was in junior high.
Host: That was when he was in junior high.
Host: Did many girls like you when you were in junior high?
YH: I went to an all boys school.
Host: Oh? All boys school?
Host: Yes, there were no girls.
Host: Well were there any seniors who were jealous?
YH: My life has always been one where people were jealous of me. (host translates)
Host: I'm envious.
YH: A life where no one is jealous of me is not a life that belongs to me.(host translates)
Host: (laughs and starts to repeat what YH said)
YH: I'm sorry.
Host: What are your average heights?
Host: Yeah they are very tall.
Host: I want to ask, do Korean entertainment companies look for people of a certain height when scouting?
MH: No.
Host: Because they were scouted when they were still young and that's when they began training, their boss probably couldn't tell how much they would grow.
Host: So is there ever a case when they find out that they have stopped growing and kick them out?
YH: Our company didn't consider heights, they were sold on the members' looks, that they were handsome. (host translates)
Hosts: I'm sorry.
Host: Among them, the tallest is JS.
Host: Yes, JS.
Host: He is 187cm. Even taller than (one of the hosts) by 6cm.
Host: Ehh...no only 3cm. Depends on the weather.
Host: JS often attends fashion shows. So handsome.
Host: Let's cue some music and have them demonstrate a catwalk.
HOst: So handsome.
Host: Yes.

Host: How fun.
Host: Since their debut in Korea, it's been about 4 years. They secured a music show win within 2 weeks of debuting. They set a record for a rookie and the record has yet to be broken. Pretty impressive. Every album will have their compositions. I heard that the fastest time they finished a song was 10min. Also, their seniors DBSK requested a song from them. So when you guys compose a very good song, if someone requests that song, will you give it to them to sing?
YH: I'm currently busy preparing my solo album but in the future I want to write a song for you guys at Day Day Up.
Hosts: Yes, please do.
YH: sings "Day Day Up brothers" to the tune of "I'm Sorry"

I thought the show was entertaining because of Yong Hwa. He was his usual cheeky self and they all showed that they enjoyed the games and the candy blowing experience. I love it that he has no qualms about laughing at himself of his team mates which is what the producer/director of the show had earlier commented, which was they do not act with the burden of being an idol. I thought he was so cute to just continue to stand behind so as to be able to continue to peek at how the candy master created the prawn figure, really just Like a Child.

I have always enjoyed watching YongHwa in variety show too. He brings something more and special to a show. He makes me happy & entertained.
