Are you enjoying your New Year's long weekend~? Happy new year, and I hope your year 2014 is filled with happiness. We CNBLUE are spending the New Year's weekend holding concerts in South America.
The first Latin American concert of the World Tour was held in Mexico a few days ago. Here is the travelogue of CNBLUE's first visit to Mexico!
작년에 음악 방송 참석 차 칠레는 방문한 적이 있었는데, 멕시코는 이번이 처음이었어요. 공항에서부터 많은 팬 분들이 저희를 반겨 주셔서 감동을 주셨던… 멕시코 시티의 바로 이 공항!
We've been to Chile for a music show last year, but this was our first time in Mexico. Many fans welcomed us at the airport and it touched our hearts...this is that airport in Mexico City!
뉴욕과 LA에서의 북미 공연을 마치고 바로 멕시코로 이동한 탓에 피로감이 있기는 했지만 이렇게 처음 발을 내딛는 멕시코 시티에서 ‘씨엔블루’를 외쳐주시는 많은 팬분들을 만나니, 뭔가 뭉클하면서 정말 기뻤던 순간이었답니다.
Moving right after the performances in New York and LA made us feel a little fatigued. But when we met the fans who chanted 'CNBLUE' in Mexico City, where we took our step for the first time, I felt somehow emotional and really happy at that moment.
공연 전에는 늘 그렇듯 현지 매체와의 인터뷰가 있어요. 대기실에서 방송국의 인터뷰를 패러디 하는 중 ~ㅋㅋㅋ 정신군과 제가 민혁군을 인터뷰 하고 있습니다. 어떤가요, 제법 그럴싸 한가요~?
Before each show, we always have interviews with the local media. We're parodying the TV station's interview in our waiting room~ kekeke Jungshin and I are interviewing Minhyuk. How do we look, serious enough~?
이건 멕시코 현지 매체와의 인터뷰 촬영 때인데요, 저희들 모두 열심히 ‘Hola~’ ‘Hola Mexico(안녕하세요, 멕시코!)’ ‘Somos CNBLUE(우리는 씨엔블루입니다)’ 를 외치며 열심히 인터뷰 중!
This is during an interview with a Mexican local media. We're all shouting "Hola~" "Hola Mexico" "Somos CNBLUE (We're CNBLUE)"
공연을 앞두고 본격적으로 리허설에 돌입한 모습이에요. 완전 집중모드에 돌입한 베이시스트 이정신군부터!
드러머 강민혁군도 초 집중 모드~ 리허설을 정말 중요하게 생각하고 있기 때문에 멤버들의 표정에서도 진지함이 느껴지네요.

Before the concert, we began rehearsing. Let's start with the bassist LJS, fully in concentration mode!
Drummer KMH is also ultra concentrated~ We think rehearsals are very important, so we can sense the seriousness on their faces.

물 마시고 있는 저입니다~ 이 공간에 5000여명의 관객들이 꽉 찬다고 생각하니 기대도 되고 벅차 오르기도 했던 기억이 나네요. 저희 공연이 일찍부터 전석 매진 되었다고 들어서, 멕시코 시티에서의 이 무대가 정말 기대되었어요.
This is me drinking water~ I remember I was very excited and overwhelmed thinking that 5,000 audience will fill that space. I heard our show was sold out early, so I was really looking forward to this stage in Mexico City.
저희 공연이 열렸던 멕시코 시티의 ‘Pepsi Center WTC’ 공연장 밖에서는 공연 시작 하루 전부터 수 백 명의 팬들이 줄을 서서 기다리시고 계셨대요.
Outside our venue, 'Pepsi Center WTC' in Mexico City, we heard that hundreds of our fans were waiting in line from a day before the concert.
짠~ 저희 공연이 시작이 되고, 저는 이번 멕시코 공연을 위해 집중 스페인어 학습(!)에 들어갔었어요. 멕시코 팬들과 좀 더 소통하고 싶었거든요~ 실제로 ‘Mexico, te amo(메히꼬, 떼 아모: 직역하자면 ‘멕시코, 너를 사랑한다’는 뜻)’ 라는 가사로 즉흥 곡을 연주하고 불렀을 때 관객들이 뜨겁게 호응해 주셔서 기뻤어요. 공연 중간 중간 열심히 익힌 스페인어로 이야기를 하니 역시 저도 신이 나고, 관객들도 훨씬 즐거워하시는 것 같아서 뿌듯했답니다.
Tada~ Our performance started. For the Mexico show, I concentrated on learning Spanish because I wanted to communicate more with Mexican fans. When I sang an impromptu song with the words "Mexico, Te amo", I was happy to see the audience's passionate response. I spoke from time to time in Spanish that I tried hard to learn, so it made me feel more excited and rewarding when the audience seemed to have so much fun.
열광적인 멕시코 관객들 덕분에 저는 정말 행복하게 모든 에너지를 무대에서 뜨겁게 쏟아낼 수 있었어요.
저 뿐만 아니라 저희 멤버들도 공연에 취해~ 음악에 취해, 환호성에 취했습니다.
Thanks to the passionate Mexican audience, I was able to pour out all of my energy happily onto the stage.
It's not just me, but our members also were intoxicated with the performance. Intoxicated with music, intoxicated with the cheers.

It was an unforgettable concert, I was amazed and thankful that there were fans that loved CNBLUE's music so much across the globe.

Thanks for the translations. Love it that he has done up a journal of their Mexico experience. Wish they could do up one for each country or town that they perform in, that would be very meaningful and touching to the fans. As usual, our dear leader has tried hard to communicate with the audience, this time being Spanish. Really appreciate their efforts in bringing us closer to them.
