4인 아이돌밴드 씨엔블루(정용화 이종현 강민혁 이정신)가 피겨 퀸 김연아와 스포츠 브랜드 광고 모델로 동반 발탁됐다.

1일 씨엔블루 측에 따르면 씨엔블루는 최근 김연아와 함께 프로스펙스 W의 광고 모델로 낙점됐다. 프로스펙스 W 측은 씨엔블루와 김연아가 환한 미소 속에 같이 있는 광고 사진을 이날 공개했다.

특히 씨엔블루의 리더이자 맏형인 정용화는 그 간 방송 등을 통해 김연아의 팬이며 그녀가 이상형이라고 여러 차례 밝혀, 이번 광고 모델 동반 캐스팅은 더욱 눈길을 끌고 있다.

정용화는 "평소 김연아 선수의 팬이었는데 이렇게 함께 광고 모델이 돼 신기하고 행복하다"며 "2013년 한해는 모든 일이 잘 풀릴 것 같은 예감이 든다"고 소감을 밝혔다.

프로스펙스 W 관계자는 "씨엔블루는 멤버마다 음악과 연기에서 끼와 재능을 발산하고 있어 젊고 새로워진 프로스펙스 W이미지와 부합한다고 판단, 김연아와 함께 새로운 파트너로 선택했다"고 모델 선정 배경을 설명했다.

한편 씨엔블루는 지난 1월 중순 '아임 소리'를 타이틀곡으로 한 새 미니앨범을 발표, 현재 방송과 공연 무대를 넘나들며 활발히 활동 중이다.

4-piece idol band CNBLUE (JYH LJH KMH LJS) was chosen as the models for a sports brand, along with the figure skating queen Kim Yuna.

According CNBLUE's agency, CNBLUE was recently selected to endorse Prospecs W, who revealed the picture of CNBLUE and Kim Yuna smiling brightly together in a photoshoot.

This casting is drawing attention as CNBLUE's leader and the oldest Jung Yong Hwa has revealed multiple times through TV shows that he's a fan of Kim Yuna and she is his ideal type.

Jung Yong Hwa remarked, "I'm a big fan of Kim Yuna, so it's remarkable for me and I'm happy that we're modeling together. I have a premonition that everything will go well in year 2013."

An associate from Prospecs W revealed, "CNBLUE was chosen as the new partner for KYN as all the members are demonstrating their potential and talent through music and acting, which seems to fit the younger and newer image of Prospecs W."

CNBLUE released a mini album with the title track "I'm sorry" in mid January, and is currently promoting it actively through TV and stages.
