공개된 광고 속에서 정용화는 특유의 훈훈한 매력과 싱그러운 표정으로 밝고 건강한 이미지를 전달하고 있다.
어바웃미 관계자는 “정용화가 가진 생기 넘치면서 열정적인 이미지가 피부는 물론 몸 속까지 건강한 아름다움을 강조하는 어바웃미 콘셉트와 부합했다”며 “광고 촬영현장에서도 밝고 생기 넘치는 이미지로 분위기를 리드했다”고 밝혔다.
정용화는 최근 중국 스크린 데뷔작 ‘결전식신’에서 미슐랭 레스토랑 출신 셰프 안바오루어(安保?) 역을 맡아 안정적인 연기를 선보이며 호평을 받았다. 특히 중국 내 한류금지령으로 시장이 얼어붙은 상황에서도 영화 프로모션에 현지 매체들이 대거 몰려 열띤 취재 경쟁을 펼치는 등 ‘대륙 남신’으로서의 입지를 확인했다.
