[RT] 윤도현님 트윗 Tweet by Yoon Do Hyun
Trans) When I write lyrics I laugh, get depressed, excited, energetic, teary, poignant
anyhow my emotions fluctuate so capriciously~
-
I always think the real emotions behind lyrics are more important than the literary skills or other tricks.

Writing lyrics is Yong Hwa's way of dealing with all the stress, worries, unhappiness, struggles, prejudices etc etc he's facing head on everyday. No wonder it's an emotional experience for him, but also a good way to let it all out. His lyrics are often more deep than one may appreciate.

He must have felt the same to RT this. :)
It seems to me that Yonghwa tend to speak to / encourage himself through his lyrics during his down times. We got Don't Care last year; and Man in front of Mirror and Mr. KIA during Heartstrings filming, all delivering a very positive attitude towards life or work. I am glad that he has this talent which helps releasing his frustration and giving him some relief, hopefully. :) -
i remember how he cried after composing one time. he must felt the same when writing the song thats why he retweeted this :) thats why i always appreciate more self-composed songs and i can clearly feel more intense emotion on this latest album
-
He said he cried? Maybe I missed it, but I really want to read or watch such an interview. That's important. Don't mean to correct you or whatnot, would you or others clarify?
-
mybe i can help.he said on the encore stage for their 1st concert Listen to the CN BLUE AX Korea after the song for fool before loner.
-
Ah, the word he used there was "wulkok," which is more like "choked up" from getting emotional rather than actually crying. :)
-
The eng sub says "almost cried". Very different from "cried" to me. -
thanks for clarification :) english is not my first language :)
-
He said it long time ago, fans (Weibo blog) sometime still mention about it. I read that article as well, but I don't know whether I can find it out now.

I've read only one interview about the single "The Way" (J magazine Pati Pati 2010 July Issue, intv conducted in May). Yonghwa said the songs were there to tell why they love music so much. But the music and lyrics shouldn't be only about his feelings, the songs should also touch the listeners' hearts (a kind of communication).
He didn't even name "One Time" in the interview.
This post is about YH's RT, which is about lyrics writing in general, I'm so sorry that I diverted the discussion to a very specific song.

왜 RT하는 글도 예쁘죠?... ;ㅁ;
