씨엔블루 정용화가 홍콩 출신 톱스타 사정봉(셰팅펑)과 호흡을 맞춘다.

복수의 관계자에 따르면 정용화는 중화권 대작 '봉미강호지결전식신'에 주연급으로 출연한다. '봉미강호지결전식신'은 홍콩 잉황그룹이 3억 홍콩달러(약 460억 원)를 들여 제작하는 4D 영화로, 홍콩 톱스타 사정봉과 정용화, 그리고 중국 국민배우 갈우와 중국 톱 여배우 탕옌 등이 호흡을 맞출 예정이다.

정용화는 그동안 드라마 '미남이시네요' '넌 내게 반했어' 등 작품과 씨엔블루 활동으로 중국에 탄탄한 팬층을 보유한 한류 스타다. 그간 '쾌락대본영' '천천향상' 등 중국 인기 예능프로그램에는 출연했지만 중국 시장에서의 연기 도전은 이번이 처음이다. tvN 드라마 '삼총사' 이후 2년여 만의 연기 복귀이기도 해 한중 양국 팬들의 관심이 뜨거울 것으로 보인다.

한편 영화 '봉미강호지결전식신'은 음식, 액션, 드라마, 코믹을 섞은 대작으로, 중국 내에 4D 상영관이 증가 추세로 수요가 부쩍 늘어난 가운데 관객에게 시각적인 재미 외에 후각 정보를 전달, 생동감있게 스토리를 전달할 예정이다.

정용화가 속한 씨엔블루는 아시아에서 '컴 투게더'로 투어 열기를 이어가고 있다.

CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa will partner up with Hong Kong's top star, Nicholas Tse.

According to multiple insiders, JYH will appear in the Chinese blockbuster "Cook Up a Storm" as one of the lead characters. "Cook Up a Storm" is a 4D film produced by HK's EEG, investing 300 million HKD. It will star HK's top star Nicholas Tse, Jung Yonghwa, and China's top actor Ge You and actress Tang Yan.

Jung Yonghwa is a hallyu star who has a solid fanbase in China, from works such as "You're Beautiful", "Heartstrings", and through CNBLUE's activities. Though he has thus far appeared in popular Chinese TV shows such as "Happy Camp" and "Day Day Up", this is his first attempt at acting in the Chinese market. It's also his return to acting in 2 years following tvN's "The Three Musketeers", which would garner hot attention from both Korean and Chinese fans.

"Cook Up a Storm" is a blockbuster that combines food, action, drama, and comedy. As 4D theaters have multiplied recently in China, it will not only deliver visual but also olfactory information, showcasing the story more vividly.
