【E】 정용화X이연희 '더 패키지', 2017년 상반기 방송 Jung Yonghwa X Lee Yeonhee 'The Package', Set to Air in Early 2017

정용화와 이연희가 프랑스로 떠날 준비를 마쳤다.

정용화·이연희·최우식·윤박 등은 내년 상반기 방송될 JTBC '더 패키지'에 출연한다.

'더 패키지'는 여행을 통해 한 팀이 된 가이드와 여행자들의 이야기를 다루는 12부작 여행극. 각기 다른 이유로 여행을 선택한 사람들이 서로 관여하고 싶지 않아도 관계를 맺게 되면서 벌어지는 사건과 소통의 여정을 그려나간다.

사귀던 여자에게 차이고 홀로 여행에 나선 정용화(산마루) 10년째 연애만 하고 있는 회사원 최우식(김경재) 이연희(윤소소)를 쫓아온 의문의 사나이 윤박. 관계를 알 수 없는 파트너와 여행을 온 류승수(정연성)과 연애와 결혼 사이에서 고민 중인 웹디자이너 하시은(한소란. 고집불통 싸움꾼 꼰대 정규수(오갑수)와 평생 남편 수발하다 늙어버린 이지현(한복자), 나이를 가늠할 수 없는 박유나(나현)가 패키지 여행에 합류한다. 이 모든 여행은 프랑스 유학파 가이드 이연희가 이끈다.

제작진은 "다른 인생을 살아왔고 여행을 통해 이루고 싶은 목적도 다른 사람들이 프랑스 패키지 여행이라는 공통분모로 어쩔 수 없이 관계를 맺고 예기치 못한 사건도 함께 겪으며 소통하는 과정을 그리고자 한다"며 "일상을 잠시 멈추는 여행을 통해 서로에 대해 마음을 열고 각자의 사연에도 귀를 기울일 수 있는 따뜻한 여행같은 드라마를 선보일 계획이다"고 밝혔다.

'추노' '7급 공무원' 영화 '해적' 등을 쓴 천성일 작가의 드라마 복귀작. '직장의 신' '가족끼리 왜 이래'를 만든 전창근 PD와 손을 잡는다. 패키지 팀을 꾸린 배우들은 사전 연습을 거쳐 프랑스 로케이션을 떠난다. 사전 제작으로 내년 상반기 JTBC에서 방영된다.

Jung Yonghwa, Lee Yeonghee, Choi Wooshik, and Yoon Park will appear in JTBC's 'The Package', set to air next year.

'The Package' is a 12-episode travel drama about a tour guide and travelers' story. As each of them who chose to travel for their own reason become involved with one another whether or not they want to, they form relations and go through events together in the process of communicating.

Jung Yonghwa (San Maru) embarks on a journey after being dumped by his girlfriend, corporate worker Choi Wooshik (Kim Kyungjae) is in love for 10 years, Yoon Park is a mystery man who came after Lee Yeonhee (Yoon Soso). Also starring are Ryu Seungsu (Jung Yunsung) who comes abroad with a partner in an unknown relationship, web designer Ha Sieun (Han Soran) who contemplates between love and marriage, a stubbornly conservative old man Jung Kyusu (Oh Gapsu), Lee Jihyun (Han Bokja) who aged taking care of her husband all her life, and Park Yuna (Na Hyun) whose age is difficult to guess. The entire crew is led by the tour guide Lee Yeonhee, educated in France (*they mean the character).

The production crew remarked, "We wish to portray the process of communication, as people who have led different lives and also have different objectives for their trip have to become involved with one another and go through events together in the package tour. We hope to create a drama like a hearty trip, one that temporarily pauses the daily life and opens mind to one another and listens to each person's story."

It's a returning project by writer Chun Sungil (Chuno, 7th Grade Civil Servant) who teams up with Jun Changgeun PD ('God of Office' and 'What's with this Family'). The actors will go through rehearsals and pack up for filming in France. After pre-production, it is set to air in JTBC early next year.
