2014년판 '한류사대천왕'을 단독결정! 노래도 연기도 가능한 미남이 강세
'한류는 이미 한물간 거 아냐?' 이거, 정말 자주 듣는 말이죠. 소위 말하는 "혐한"등, 여러 요인이 있지만, 그래도 '그건 그거고, 이건 이거'라고 정치와 엔터테인먼트를 떼어놓고 즐기는 코어팬들로 한류는 지속되고 있어요.
단, 새로운 아이돌 그룹이 계속 일본에서 데뷔하거나 라이브 공연을 하는 등, 활기로 가득찬 k-pop에 비해, 드라마계(어디까지나 일본에서의 한류 드라마의 열기)가 시들하다는 점이 좀 아쉽죠.
드라마 '미남이시네요'에서 "근쨩" 즉 장근석 붐이 일어난 게 2011년. 이후, 일본에서 한국 드라마의 빅히트가 없는 실정입니다. 이것이 업계에서는 아쉬울 따름이죠. 2003년 '겨울연가', 2006년 '궁'등, 이제까지 늘 큰 붐은 드라마에서 나왔기에, 다음 작품이 슬슬 나왔으면 하는 시점입니다.
한국에서 시청률이 좋아도 일본에선 히트하지 못하는 경우도 있고 (그 반대인 성공사례도 있지만), 일본 지상파에서 방송하는 시간이 전보다 크게 줄어드는 등, 상당히 어렵기는 합니다. 그럼에도 '역시 강세다 ', '고정층이 있다', '잡지매상이 오른다'는 말을 듣는, 최신판 '한류 4대천왕'은 아마 이 얼굴들일 겁니다.
공통점은 로맨틱 코미디 주연, 그리고 노래를 할 수 있다는 점.

두번 째는, '미남이시네요'에서 장근석과 함께 출연한 씨엔블루의 정용화. 속마음과 달리 툴툴대는 주인공에게 휘둘리는 히로인을 몰래 지켜주는, 드라마에선 꼭 나오는 멋진 역할로 단숨에 눈길을 끌었죠.
(그가) 리더로 있는 4인조밴드, 씨엔블루는 싱글, 정규 모두 오리콘 주간 1위를 이미 차지했고, 10월 말부터는 부도칸을 시작으로 전국 아레나 투어가 시작됩니다. 용화를 비롯한 전원이 드라마에 활발하게 출연중인 '배우밴드'이기도 하죠.

"Isn't Hallyu passé?" We hear this very often these days. There are many factors such as "Anti-Korean sentiment" and others, but Hallyu continues with core fans who enjoy entertainment apart from politics, saying "This is this, and that is that."

Their similarities: leads in romantic comedies, and that they can sing.
Secondly, it's CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa who have starred in "You are Beautiful" with JGS. His popularity rose at once as the all-time nice guy who secretly protects the heroine, as she was swayed by the male lead who was mean despite what he felt inside.
CNBLUE, the four-piece band where he's the leader, has already accomplished no. 1 on both Oricon single and album charts. Starting in October, they begin a national arena tour from Budokan. They're an "acting band" as well-- all members aside from Yonghwa also vigorously act in dramas.
Yonghwa followed with his first lead in "Heartstrings". His newest work is his challenge in a period drama, "The Three Musketeers".

The time has passed and much has changed since the initial four emperors Bae Yongjun, Lee Byunghun, Won Bin, and Jang Donggun. They're real top stars who have conquered both singing and acting. That's the hallyu formula of today.
