씨엔블루 정용화가 tvN ‘삼총사’ 출연을 확정 지었다.
정용화 소속사 FNC엔터테인먼트는 12일 “정용화가 ‘삼총사’의 남자 주인공 무사 박달향 역으로 출연한다”고 밝혔다.
프랑스 대문호 알렉상드로 뒤마의 동명의 소설을 모티프로 하는 tvN 미니시리즈 ‘삼총사’는 100억 대작으로 캐스팅 단계부터 큰 관심을 모으고 있으며 조선시대를 배경으로 주인공 박달향과 삼총사(소현세자, 안민서, 허승포)의 활약상을 다루는 사극 드라마다.
정용화가 맡은 박달향 역은 원작의 달타냥에 해당한다. 박달향은 뛰어난 무예실력으로 조선과 청나라에서 활약을 펼치는 입지전적인 인물로 추진력과 신념, 용맹심 등 장수가 지녀야 할 모든 덕목을 지닌 타고난 무사다. 뿐만 아니라 천성적인 단순 명쾌함과 낙천성, 해사한 미소까지 갖춘 완벽남 캐릭터.
정용화는 극 중 첫 사랑이자 훗날 세자빈 강빈이 되는 윤서(서현진)를 두고 소현세자(이진욱)와 시공간을 초월한 삼각 로맨스를 그릴 예정이다. 전작들을 통해 뛰어난 캐릭터 표현력과 안정적인 연기력을 인정받아온 만큼 그의 이번 연기에도 기대가 쏠리고 있다.
‘삼총사’는 ‘인현왕후의 남자’, ‘나인’을 만든 김병수 PD와 송재정 작가가 세 번째로 의기투합하는 작품으로도 기대를 모으고 있으며 송재정 작가는 ‘순풍산부인과’, ‘웬만해선 그들을 막을 수 없다’, ‘거침없이 하이킥’ 등 내로라하는 히트 시트콤의 집필자로도 유명하다.
한편 tvN 대하로맨스활극 ‘삼총사’는 시즌제 드라마로 세 시즌에 걸쳐 방송되며 시즌마다 12개 에피소드를 담는다. 8월 첫 방송 예정된다.

Inspired by the French laureate Alexandre Dumas' novel of the same title, 'The Three Musketeers' is a '10-billion won blockbuster' that has garnered attention since the casting period. It is a period drama that portrays the adventure of protagonist Park Dalhyang and three musketeers (Crown Prince Sohyeon, An Minseo, Heo Seungpo) during the Joseon period.
Jung Yonghwa's role, Park Dalhyang, is based on d'Artagnan of the original novel. Park Dalhyang is a self-made man who excels in martial arts, whose activity spans from Joseon to Qing. He was born with all the virtues of a warrior; a man of principle with drive and courage. Also, he's a perfect guy who has natural and simple clarity and a bright smile.
Across time and place, Jung Yonghwa will take part in a love triangle with Yunseo (Seo Hyunjin), who is his first love and later becomes the Crown Princess Kang, and Crown Prince Sohyeon.
'The Three Musketeers' is the third drama in which PD Kim Byungsu and writer Song Jaejung collaborate following 'Queen Inhyun's Man' and 'Nine'. 'The Three Musketeers' will take the season system, airing in three seasons with 12 episodes in each. It will premiere in August.
