KBS2 <굿닥터> 후속 드라마 <미래의 선택>에는 언론 재벌가 할머니(고두심)와 손자(정용화)가 허물 없이 대화하는 가장 가까운 친구 사이로 설정돼 있다. 노인들이 더 이상 '뒷방 늙은이'가 아닌 사회현상을 반영한다.
