Park Dalhyang is from a yangban family in the countryside.
I hope you would all anticipate how he grows after coming to Hanyang (Seoul).
I'm d'Artagnan in the original novel.
Q. What did you prepare for this character?
Practicing at the horseback riding track and the martial arts center were different from the actual filming. I think I'm improving a lot as I'm filming. Now, I'd rather move on horseback rather than a car...I'm kidding. It's that fun. Rather than being nervous, I think I'm enjoying it much.
Q. Was there anything difficult since this is your first period drama?
As I'm filming on the set, I discuss a lot with the director. At first, costumes and everything about period dramas were new to me. But over time, I became more and more accustomed to it all. It's so much fun, I always want to go to the set. I used to wear socks, but now beoseon(footwear for hanbok) is more comfortable. I'm enjoying the filming very much. I think the viewers would also enjoy watching it.
Q. Which characters from the novel did you like the most?
I really liked d'Artagnan. He's pure and innocent, but he always has the perseverance to accomplish the things that are given to him or that he wants to do. I think it suits my age. Now that I'm finally playing that role, I'm very grateful.
