This was one of my early favorites from their major Japan releases. I can't believe people disliked this.
Thank you so much for bringing light to this again. Now I feel like I have a closer understanding of how he wrote this song.^^

Thank you for revisiting Man in front of the mirror... Especially after YH's radio interview with Mr Kim regarding Mirrors. I am grateful to the person who asked that question. Now I appreciate the song more and can understand where he's coming from.

This is a great song. I always think YongHwa song always reflect of his inner feeling. At the time I start to know YongHwa, I didn't know of his hardship about his drama problem and badly judging of his music. But every time I look at the mirror. I start to remind myself to slow down because I feel like always rush rush rush all the time. Thank you to this young musician, I actual learn a lot from him =)

이 노래를 처음 들었을 때에는 거울속의 '그'가 노래를 듣는 수많은 청자들이라고 생각했었는데.....
라디오에서 얘기를 듣고 보니 어쩌면 용화 자신이었겠구나 하는 생각에 맘이 참 아렸답니다.
하지만 이 속깊은 청년은 거울 속 자신의 모습에서 또 꿈을 찾고 또 용기를 복돋워 주네요 !!

miss him sing this song again..the lyrics really reflected himself a lot.So many hardships he faced during that time.Hear this song again make me reflect myself too.Glad peoples start recoganized his song^^

I find myself constantly re-examinghim him. Not just about his lightening speed of evolution but going back at my perception of him when I thought I knew him. I had this condescending (however lovingly it may have been)eyes of someone who lived far more years than he did. How silly of me. His depth is hard to fathom, both as an artist and as a person. A rare gem.
This is such a forgotten song. I think it's underrated, though there were criticisms that it's not good enough. They said YH was too busy filming HS and couldn't make good music ... but he wrote three songs in that summer: Man in front of the Mirror, Mr.KIA and feeling.
So many bad things happened to that drama: change of writer, the PD abandoned the project, not very exciting ratings and all. Nothing stopped him from making great music. I totally don't like people asking him to "focus" on music. He breathes music; his heart beats music. How more focused can one be?
