Q. 소속사 선배 FTISLAND, CNBLUE로부터 받은 어드바이스나 인상에 남은 기억은?
-유나: 소속사 패밀리 콘서트에서 콜라보한 CNBLUE 용화 선배와 종현선배로부터는 “무엇보다 무대를 즐겨라”는 어드바이스를 받았어요. 용화 선배는 레코딩때도 와주셔서, 보컬 어드바이스도 해 주세요.
-초아: 언제나 선배님들께 많이 신세를 지고 있어요. 최근의 일이라면, 크리스마스날 저희가 연습하고 있을 때, CNBLUE 용화선배가 피자와 치킨을 많이 보내주셨어요. 모두 맛있게 먹었습니다!
-민아: FTISLAND의 홍기선배나 CNBLUE의 용화선배를 시작으로, 모두 언제나 “AOA가 가장 귀여워” “제일 잘해” 등, 저희에게 자신감을 실어주는 말씀을 해 주세요. 물론 같은 소속사 후배니까 해주시는 것 같지만, 그게 저희에게는 굉장히 큰 격려가 돼요.
-지민: FTISLAND리더 종훈선배, CNBLUE리더 용화선배와 3명이서 고기를 먹으면서, 리더의 마음가짐에 대해 어드바이스를 받았던 게 인상에 남아있어요. 특히 용화 선배는 평소에도 이런저런 조언을 해 주시는데, 조언을 넘어서 어머니의 잔소리 같을 때도 있어요 (웃음).
-찬미: 저는 막내에 낯을 가리는 편이라, 선배들 앞에서는 긴장해서 잘 말하지 못하곤 하는데, 용화 선배는 그런 저를 볼 때 언제나 재미있는 이야기를 해주셔서 감사하고 있어요.
Q. Any advice or memorable episodes with FTISLAND and CNBLUE?
-Yuna: From CNBLUE’s Yonghwa and Jonghyun sunbaes, whom we collaborated for the agency’s family concert, we were advised to “enjoy the stage, above all else.” Yonghwa sunbae would come to our recording sessions and give us advice on vocals, too.
-Choa: We’re always indebted to the sunbaes. As for something recent, when we were practicing on Christmas, CNBLUE’s Yonghwa sunbae sent us lots of pizza and fried chicken. Everyone had a delicious meal!
-Mina: Starting with FTISLAND’s Hongki sunbae and CNBLUE’s Yonghwa sunbae, everyone always tell us “AOA’s the cutest,” “You’re the best,” to give us confidence. I’m sure they’re saying that because we’re their agency hubaes, but it’s such a great encouragement to us.
-Jimin: I remember when FTISLAND’s leader Jonghun sunbae, CNBLUE’s leader Yonghwa sunbae, and I, the three of us went to eat meat together, they gave me advice on how to be a leader. Yonghwa sunbae gives me many advices on a regular basis, and sometimes it seems beyond advice and like a mother’s nagging (laughs).
-Chanmi: I’m the youngest and timid. I can’t talk much in front of sunbaes since I get nervous. As I'm that way, whenever Yonghwa sunbae sees me, he always tells me funny stories, I’m thankful to him.

집에서 막내인데 참 형오빠 노릇 참 잘해요. 그게 쉽지 않는데, 품도 넉넉하고 시선이 따뜻하구요. 정말 그의 깊이에 매번 놀랍니다. 부모님께선 어떻게 교육시켰던걸까요...

He has the gift of making people around him comfortable. Love how he tries to make Chanmi comfortable, which reminds me of the story of how he welcomed JS into CNBLUE when he first joined the band. Such a lovely person.
