사실 제일 많이 땡땡이치던게 용화였어요.
그치만 데뷔후에 가장 열심히 하는 것도 용화이구요.
CNBLUE는 다들 성실한 노력가로, 타고난 재능보다 노력해서 얻은 실력이 더 큰 밴드입니다.
용화가 처음에 들어왔을 때, 멤버 중에 나이가 제일 많아,
 "나이가 적은 멤버들과 맞을 것인가. 과연 이 그룹을 내가 잘 해 나갈 수 있을것인가"하며 본인도 꽤 고민했던 모양이에요.
너무 힘들었던지 중간에 "CNBLUE로 잘 해나갈 수 없을 것 같다"라고 하길래,
제 부하가 "네가 CNBLUE랑 안맞는 일은 절대 없을테니, 열심히 노력해봐"라며 달랜 적도 있었어요.
지금도 부하랑 "만약, 그때 말리지 않았다면 지금쯤 용화는 부산에서 평범하게 지내고 있었을지도 몰라요"라는 얘길 합니다.(웃음)

-During trainee days, what kind of kid was Yong Hwa?

Actually, Yong Hwa is the one that played hookie the most.

But he's also the one who works the hardest after their debut.

CNBLUE members all work very hard, they're a band that earned much more through effort than natural talent.

When Yong Hwa joined at first, he was the oldest among members,

so it seems that he was quite worried about whether he would get along with younger members, that he could do well in this band.

At one time, it seemed too difficult for him. He said, "I don't think I can do well as CNBLUE."

So my junior had to console him by saying, "There's no way you won't get along with CNBLUE. Just try hard."

We still talk about how, "If she/he didn't stop him then, Yong Hwa might be living an ordinary life in Busan." (Laughs)
