신혜 : 용화였나?

근석 : 응. 용화였지.

         자기 약점을 파악하는 건 센스가 없으면 안되는건데 용화는 본인한테 부족한 부분을 잘 알고 있는 것 같았어요.

         부산출신이라 표준어를 구사할때 약간 부자연스런 부분이 있었는데 계속 연습하더라구.

         사투리를 고친다는건 정말 힘든 일인데 어떻게든 극복해냈죠.

신혜 : 용화는 끈기가 있어요. 

         만일 제가 어중간하게 연기를 했다면 오히려 제 발목이 잡혔을지도 모를, 위험한(웃음), 굉장한 아이에요.

 

근석 : 실은 얘기할 기회가 그렇게 많지 않았어요.

         드라마가 끝난 게 연말이어선지 A.N.JELL로 출연해달라는 의뢰가 많이 들어왔는데,

         전원이 함께가 아니라 나뉘어서 출연하는 경우가 많았어요.

         신혜는 용화와 SBS가요대전 사회를 맡았고, 전 연기대상 사회를 맡아서 세 사람에게 상을 수여하기도 했구요.

         일정상 만날 기회도 많긴 했지만, 여유롭게 얘기나눈 건 종방직후에 다함께 스키장에 갔었을 때가 마지막이었어요.

         하지만 용화는 스키장에도 함께 가지 못했었죠.


Who's the one that never let go of the script on set?

Shin Hye: Was it Yong Hwa?
Geun Suk: Yeah. It was Yong Hwa.

Unless you're sensible, it's difficult to realize your weaknesses. Yong Hwa seemed to know what he lacked very well. He's from Busan, so he had some trouble with the standard language. But he kept practicing. It's such a difficult task to fix your dialect, but he overcame that anyway.

SH: Yong Hwa has perseverance. If I acted a bit haphazardly, he could have caught up. He's a dangerous (laughs), kid.

What did you discuss after the drama?

GS: Actually, there wasn't much chance to have a talk.

Because the drama was finished at the end of the year, we got many offers to appear as A.N.JELL, but most of the time all of us couldn't be there at the same time. SH was the MC for Gayo Daejun with Yong Hwa, and I became the MC for the Drama Awards and presented the three with awards.  Although we had many chances to meet through our schedules, the last time we could actually have a talk was when we went skiing right after the filming was over. But Yong Hwa couldn't go ski with us, either.
