Near sunset, a fresh-faced young man wearing a white shirt and jeans, who seemed to just have gotten over boyhood, strode into the cafe. His face was so handsome that it seemed to brighten up the surroundings. It was CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa.
I was waiting for him to take a seat so I can show him the menu, but he came close to the bar and asked, "I'll have an Americano."
His eyes looked so innocent.
"I'll bring it to your seat."
"Um...I'd like to take it to go, please. Would it be alright?"
"Sure. Please wait here for a minute."
That's when another man stepped in after him, asking loudly,
"Did you order yet?"
"Yup, a cup of Americano!"
When he came near, Jung Yonghwa whispered in his ears. Still, I could hear him loud and clear.
"Hyung, could you ask if this is the place in that song?"
"...Is this the Milky Way Cafe in 10cm's song?"
"Yes, that's right."
He's a singer as well, and he seems to like 10cm's songs. The interest he has in 10cm shows his passion for music and his humility. His curiosity was so endearing. It amazed me how the celebrities we see on TV are not too different from us.
It must be that kind of passion and humility that motivate him to create and sing songs.
