Q. 어느 멋진날 음원공개 30분 전 웨이보에 “35분”이라고 남겼을 때, 뭘 하고 있었나요? 첫 솔로로 나왔는데 긴장되지 않았는지?
When you left "35 mins" on weibo before releasing music, what were you doing? Weren't you nervous coming out as a solo for the first time?
-Before 35 mins, I was waiting…for the music to be released. I’m always nervous, every time. I’ve always listened to the songs, but listening to it through an open site and other public spaces, it feels different. I get nervous.
Q. 타이틀곡 외에 가장 맘에 들고 가장 팬들에게 추천하는 곡은?
What do you like the best besides the title track and recommend to fans?
-I like them all. All the styles are different. It’s difficult to pick just one, but if I had to pick, I think “27 years” with Peter Malick is nice. Because it’s a song that looks back on Jung Yonghwa(’s life) so far. It’s special to me.
Q. 정용화씨에게 있어서 “가장 멋진 날”은 어떤 날인가요?
What's the "most fine day" to JYH?
-Right now! At this moment! Being with you and Yinyuetai. It’s the best day.
Q. 로맨틱한 ‘화이트’ 혹은 섹시한 ‘블랙’. 두 가지 모습 중 더 맘에 드는 것은 어느 쪽?
Romantic "white" or sexy "black". Which do you like better?
-I like both. The styles are both different. I had so much fun taking photos in both styles. I put so much effort into them. I like both A and B.
Q. 합작한 아티스트분들은 모두 본인의 친분관계로 부탁하셨는지?
Did you invite all the artists out of your own friendship?
-RIght. I requested them. I worked with them by composing or writing lyrics together.
Q. “어느 멋진 날” 뮤비 중에 나오는 키스신은 본인이 추가로 요청한 것인지? NG는 몇번?
Did you request to add the kissing scene in the OFD MV? How many bloopers?
-I didn’t demand it, but I wasn’t against it. There was no blooper. What I shot is all you saw.
Q. “어느 멋진 날” 뮤비 컨셉은 모두 본인의 아이디어였나요?
Is the theme for OFD MV all your idea?
-It's the director who sent me the plot. It was so close to the scenes I had imagined. I thought, the song I wrote was well delivered to the director. I felt that he really read my thoughts.
Q. 드라마 속에서 늘 뒤에서 바라보기만 하는 역할을 했는데, 다음에는 좀 다른 역할을 하고 싶은지?
You've always just watched the girls from behind in dramas. Do you wanna try something else next time?
-Yeah. I usually didn’t really get coupled with the female characters. I was always watching them afar. Unrequited love! Next time, I’d really like to just have a romance. Something so sweet it hurts. I wanna try something like that.
Q. 지금 중국어 실력은 어때요? 매번 웨이보에 올리는 중국어는 본인이 직접 쓰는건지 아니면 누군가의 도움을 받는지?
How's your Chinese now? Do you write your own Chinese messages on weibo or does someone help you?
-I’m still learning Chinese. For weibo, I look up dictionaries, use sample sentences from dictionaries, and get some help on trendy phrases. I try to incorporate these when posting.
Q. 임준걸씨가 보내준 바지를 언제나 입는다고 했는데, 그분에게는 어떤 특별한 걸 보답했는지?
You said you always wear the pants JJ Lin sent you. Did you give him something special in return?
-I sent him red jinseng. I received a hat and clothing that JJ Lin himself launched. I didn’t wear it on purpose, it was really comfortable. The pants are so cute so I always wore them. Every time he comes to Korea, he always give me presents. Next time I visit, I should give him something special.
