韓國樂團「CNBLUE」主唱鄭容和「單飛」推出首張個人專輯，專輯找來多位重量級音樂人助陣，今天公布壓軸音樂人──金曲歌王林俊傑。他倆合唱的《Checkmate》收錄在鄭容和的專輯中，語言雖不同，但對兩人來說完全不受語言隔閡，還一起分享台灣美食，林俊傑請人買了台灣有名的芒果冰，讓鄭容和與韓方工作團隊品嘗，靠美食更是拉近距離。
 
鄭容和則表示，林俊傑有空一定要前往韓國，再忙都會盡地主之誼，抽空陪林俊傑吃美食，林俊傑也一口答應，一定會前往韓國。鄭容和去年10月底首次開啟個人微博，短短不到3個月已突破100萬粉絲，鄭容和直呼：「終於突破100萬了！哇嗚，一種2015年能夠更幸福的感覺！」（陳穎／綜合報導）

Transnational Collaboration! Solo Jung Yong Hwa Joins J.J. Lin

Korean band CNBLUE’s main vocal Jung Yong Hwa releases his first solo album, with solid support from famous musicians. The last collaborating artist revealed today is “hit song king” J.J. Lin. Their collab track, Checkmate, will be included in the album. Though they speak different languages, the language difference has not stopped them from getting close, thanks to great Taiwanese food. J.J. Lin sent people to buy “mango ice” for Jung Yong Hwa and the Korean staff to enjoy. Great food closed the distance.

Jung Yong Hwa invitied J.J. Lin to visit Korean when he had time, saying he would buy him Korean food showing him round however busy he might be. J.J. Lin promised to visit Korea right away. Jung Yong Hwa opened his weibo account in late October last year. His followers exceeded a million within 3 months. Jung Yong Hwa happily said, “Finally, 1 million reached!!!! Wow, I have a feeling 2015 will be even happier!”

韓團CNBLUE主唱鄭容和單飛，1月下旬將推出首張個人專輯，跨國邀約JJ林俊傑合作新歌「Checkmate」，兩人飆唱，鄭容和表示，是很好的文化交流，也計畫在專輯宣傳期結束後，在韓、台等地舉辦個人演唱會。

2013年，CNBLUE首次登小巨蛋開唱，當時同為華納旗下歌手的林俊傑，赴後台為CNBLUE加油打氣，彼此都留下好印象，更在海外頒獎典禮數度相遇，
鄭容和也都主動向林俊傑打招呼，直到去年CNBLUE再度來台開唱，鄭容和提出合作邀約，林俊傑也一口答應。

兩地歌手交流音樂，鄭容和說：「這是我第一次和其他藝人在音樂上互動交流，也是對我自己非常有意義的一張專輯，很謝謝林俊傑爽快答應，能一起做音樂，真是十分有趣的經驗，希望日後也能有更多合作。」林俊傑則指有一次在北京參加頒獎典禮，鄭容和特別向他打招呼，甚至穿林的潮牌SMG衣服露臉新加坡活動，此舉讓林俊傑相當感動。

Korean band CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa goes solo, releasing his first solo album in late January. He invited overseas singer J.J. Lin for collaboration. The new song "Checkmate" will be included in the album. Jung Yong Hwa revealed that it was a great cross-cultural experience. He has planned to hold solo concerts after the promotion activities in Korea and Taiwan.

In 2014 when CNBLUE had their concert in Taiwan Stadium for the first time, J.J. Lin went backstage to cheer for them as a label-mate. They left each other good impressions. Then they met overseas in several award ceremonies. Each time, Jung Yong Hwa greeted J.J. Lin enthusiatically. Until last year when CNBLEU had concerts in Taiwan again, Jung Yong Hwa asked for a collaboration. J.J. Lin agreed right away.

On working with a singer from another country, Jung Yong Hwa commented, "It's the first time I work with other artists of music. This means a lot to me as it's a very special album to me. I'm grateful for J.J. Lin's agreeing to do music with me. It was such an interesting experience. I hope we can work together even more in the future." J.J. Lin mentioned an episode when he was at an award ceremony in Beijing, how Jung Yong Hwa especially approached him to say hi. Jung Yong Hwa even wore clothes of J.J.'s own brand, SMG, in an Singapore event. That espeically touched J.J. Lin.

The collab song "Checkmate" happened, irrespective of the language barrier. They even shared great Taiwan food together, for J.J. Lin bought them "mango ice" as the host. Jung Yong Hwa also asked J.J. to meet with him if he would visit Korea. He would buy him the bests Korean snacks.
