그룹 씨엔블루(CNBLUE)가 자신들의 색을 잃지 않겠다는 각오를 전했다.

씨엔블루는 10일 오후 홍콩 아시아 월드 엑스포 아레나(ASIA WORLD EXPO ARENA)에서 진행되는 ‘2013 씨엔블루 월드 투어 블루문(BLUE MOON) 라이브 인 홍콩’ 공연을 앞두고 국내 취재진들과 만난 자리에서 “최초의 밴드 월드 투어라 영광이다”고 말문을 열었다.

이날 정용화는 “전 세계 팬들에게 우리들의 안 보여준 모습을 보여주는 게 가장 중요하다고 생각한다. 우리의 노래를 중점으로 공연에서 보여줄 예정이다. 그 안에서 세세하게 준비했다. 씨엔블루만의 노래와 연주를 잃지 않게 노력하면서 공연할 예정이다”고 말했다.

이어 정용화는 “댄스 공연은 짜여진 대로 보여지는 시각적인 효과가 큰데, 우리는 직접 반주를 해서 원하는 것을 하다 보니 콘서트 시간이 변화가 있는 게 다르다”며 댄스 그룹의 콘서트와의 차별점에 대해서도 짚었다.

Group CNBLUE expressed their will to not lose their color.

Meeting with Korean media on the 10th before the "2013 CNBLUE World Tour Blue Moon Live in Hong Kong" held at the Asia World Expo Arena, CNBLUE first began the conversation by remarking, "It's an honor to have the first World Tour as a (Korean) band."

Jung Yonghwa said, "I think the most important thing is to show our international fans the side of us that we haven't shown before. Our focus will be on our songs. Within that boundary, we've prepared much in detail. Our objective is to maintain CNBLUE's own vocal and instrumental style while performing."

He added, "Dance-based shows have a great visual effect according to their choreography, but since we play our own instruments and do what we want to do, the change in duration of concert time may be our difference (with others)," pointing out their distinct characteristics that sets them apart from dance groups.

씨엔블루 멤버 정용화가 자신의 발전하고 있는 모습과 부족한 점에 대해 고백했다.

정용화는 10일 오후 홍콩 아시아 월드 엑스포 아레나(Asia world expo Arena)에서 열린 '2013 월드투어-블루문' 기자회견에 참석해 월드투어에 참석해 "공연 중 가끔 오버할 때가 있다"고 털어놨다.

이날 정용화는 "처음 공연할 때는 제 이미지나 이런 것들을 많이 생각했다"며 "보여지는 것들을 중요시해서 멋있어 보이려고 했다"며 웃었다.

그는 이어 "점점 공연을 많이 하면서 그런 것보다는 관객과 호응하는 게 중요하단 것을 느꼈다. 그래야 저도 재밌고 관객도 재밌다는 것을 느껴서 좀 더 관객들과 교감을 해야 한다고 생각했다"고 덧붙였다.

정용화는 또 "제가 덜 성숙한 점이 있다면 공연할 때 처음부터 너무 오버할 때가 있다"며 "목이 좋은 줄 알고 오버하다가 끝에 가면 힘든 적이 많았다. 분위기를 많이 타는 것 같다. 페이스 조절이 아직 부족한 것 같다"고 고백해 웃음을 자아냈다.

CNBLUE's member Jung Yonghwa confessed his improvements and limitations.

Jung Yonghwa... revealed, "Sometimes during concerts, I tend to exaggerate (my performance)."

He laughed, "When I first performed, I put much thought into things like my image and whatnot. Focusing on the visuals, I tried to look good."

JYH added, "The more I performed, I realized it's more important to correspond with the audience. This way, it's fun for me and also fun for the audience, so I think we need to communicate with them more."

JYH further continued, "As for my immaturity, sometimes I get hyper in the very beginning. Often, I'd think my throat is okay so I'd overdo things and suffer towards the end. I'm really influenced by the atmosphere. I still need to work on my pacing," drawing laughter (from the reporters).

3. 정용화 "연기-음악 시너지 있다, 하지만 기본은 음악"

정용화는 "예전 공연을 보면 오그라들때가 많다. 그때 당시는 잘했다고 했는데, 지금 보면 부족한 것 같다. 어떻게 해야 좋은 공연인가 고민하는 것이 가장 큰 변화라 할 수 있다. 전에는 우리가 우리가 하고 싶은 걸 했다면 이번에는 팬들이 원하는 것을 하는 것이 다르다"라고 성숙한 면모를 보이기도 했다.

"씨앤블루만의 모습을 보여주는 것이 가장 중요하다고 생각한다. 예전 노래는 변화도 주면서 우리의 색깔을 살리려 했다. 다른 나라에서 이렇게 좋아해주는 걸 보고 많이 감동 받는다. 밴드 최초 월드 투어도 많은 선배들이 길을 잘 닦아줬기 때문이라고 생각한다."

멤버들 모두 연기와 음악 활동을 병행하고 있는 씨앤블루는 이 둘의 시너지가 분명 존재한다고 말했다. 멤버 정용화는 "드라마를 통해 팬들이 생긴다는 것이 고맙고 감사하다. 그래서 우리 모두 다양한 활동을 하는 것 같다. 하지만 우리의 기본은 음악이다"라고 강조했다.

JYH "There's Synergy between Acting-Music, but the Basis is Music."

JYH said, "When I watch our old performances, I often cringe. Back then it seemed alright, but viewing it now, it's quite bad. The greatest change is that we're brainstorming 'what is a good performance.' Before, we did what we wanted to do, but this time we're doing what the fans want," displaying a mature side.

"I think the most important thing is to show CNBLUE's own color. We tried to modify the older songs to accentuate our style. We're always touched by how we're loved overseas. I think our first World Tour was made possible due to many pioneer sunbaes before us."

All members of CNBLUE are acting alongside their music--they say there is definitely a synergy between the two. JYH emphasized, "We're thankful for the fact that many fans love us through our drama. I think that's the reason all of us are active in various fields. But our basis is music."

이날 “최근 열풍을 일으키고 있는 선배 조용필의 음악을 듣고 어땠는지” 묻는 질문에 정용화는 “처음 들었을 때 정말 놀랐고, 대단하신 거 같다. ‘요즘 트렌드에 맞는 곡을 어쩜 이렇게 잘 부르실까. 음악은 역시 내공이 탄탄해야 한다’ 싶었다”고 답했다.

이어 정용화는 “또 조용필 선배님 보면서 내가 과연 그때 되면 이렇게 멋있고 트렌디한 음악을 잘 소화할 수 있을까 생각도 든다. 음악은 시간을 못 이긴다는 걸 다시 한번 느끼게 된 거 같다. 저도 정말 그렇게 되고 싶다”고 밝혔다.

JYH...confessed "I want to transform my look but I'm hesitant. I'd like to try many things like tattoo, for instance, but the fans don't want it so I'm holding it back. I already have quite a few piercings already. When I'm not in front of the media, I try to be as free as possible."

He then added, "When I see rock stars who speak up like the Oasis, I think they're cool and I get vacarious satisfaction from them. I also think, how would people respond if we did it?"

7. 씨엔블루 “드라마 팬들도 마지막엔 우리 음악 사랑해줄 것”

그룹 씨엔블루가 연기활동과 밴드활동 사이의 생각에 대해 밝혔다. (중략)

JYH said, "Certainly, there are fans who love us for our music, and those who began taking interest from watching dramas. We get to hear stories like they first saw our drama and began to listen to our music, which made them come to a concert for the first time in their lives. When we're together as CNBLUE, we must concentrate on music, but it's also grateful that fans love us through dramas. Even when we work hard in other fields, I keep in mind that our focal point is music. 8. 씨엔블루 "빌보드 차트 진입할 것"

10. 정용화 “공연중 넘어져 아찔 돌발상황, 조명 터졌다면..”

이날 정용화는 콘서트를 하며 겪은 돌발상황에 대해 "기타 줄도 자주 끊어지고 심지어 물통을 밟고 조명이랑 같이 뒤로 넘어진 적도 있다"고 말문을 열었다.
이어 "조명이 정말 뜨거웠다. 그런데 아프다는 생각보다 팬들이 웃고 있길래 다시 조명 기구를 세우고 아무렇지 않게 공연을 했다. 그 곡을 끝내니 너무 뜨거웠다는게 느껴졌다. 지금 생각하면 아찔하다"고 설명했다. 특히 "조명이 터졌다면 더 멋있지 않았을까"라고 덧붙여 웃음을 자아냈다.


JYH "I Fell During a Concert"

On unexpected accidents during concerts, JYH said "Guitar strings snap often, and I've even tripped over a water bottle and fell on my back with a lighting."
"The lighting was really hot, but the fans were laughing so I set it straight and performed without showing it. Only after finishing that song, I could feel just how hot it was. Remembering it now gives me the goosebumps. Perhaps it would've looked cooler if the lighting burst?"
