씨엔블루 정용화 멘트로 본 월드투어

아시아투데이 우남희 기자 = 씨엔블루가 대만, 싱가포르, 태국에 이어 홍콩에서 ‘2013 월드투어-블루문’ 공연을 가졌다. 이들은 10, 11일 양일간 홍콩 아시아 월드 엑스포 아레나에 서 열린 월드투어를 통해 총 1만 4000명의 팬들을 만났다. 11일 그 현장을 찾았다. 이번 월드투어를 메인보컬 정용화가 자주 했던 멘트(혹은 행동)로 정리해봤다.

◆“Make Some Noise”(소리질러), 무대매너는 뜨겁게
씨엔블루는 이날 공연에서 ‘Where You Are’을 시작으로 ‘Get Away’, ‘One Time’ 등 강렬한 비트의 음악은 물론이고, 유행곡 ‘직감’, ‘외톨이야’, ‘I'm Sorry’ 등을 선보임으로써 밴드로서 그들만이 갖고 있는 장점을 최대한 살렸다. 특히 데뷔곡 ‘외톨이야’ 때는 절정이었다. 팬들이 한국어로 된 ‘외톨이야’ 가사를 따라 부르는 모습이 인상적이었다.

정용화는 빠른 비트의 곡을 부를 때면, “Make Some Noise”를 외치며 분위기를 더욱 뜨겁게 달궜다. 관객들은 정용화의 한 마디에 일제히 소리를 질러댔다. 팬들은 멤버들의 멘트, 표정, 몸짓 하나하나에 반응하며 열광적인 모습을 보였다.

◆“I Love 홍콩”, 팬서비스는 확실하게
정용화는 기타를 치면서 팬들과 눈빛 교환을 하는가 하면 관객과 가사를 주고받는 등 메인보컬로서 팬서비스를 톡톡히 해냈다.

특히 그는 무대에 등장하면서부터 ‘I Love 홍콩’을 외쳤다. 공연 내내  ‘I Love 홍콩’을  잇달아 외쳤으며 ‘I Love 홍콩’, ‘Thank You 홍콩’을 가사로 한 노래로 팬들을 향한 애정을 드러냈다.

◆“......”(손을 귀에 갖다 대고), 팬들과 소통은 귀엽게
씨엔블루는 무엇보다 팬들과의 소통을 중요시하는 모습을 보였다. 정용화가 손을 귀에 갖다 대고 관객들의 호응을 이끌어내는 식이었다. 정용화가 ‘나란 남자’라는 곡을 부를 때 관객들은 ‘계속 계속 계속’, ‘지금 지금 지금’ 등의 가사를 외치며 씨엔블루와 입을 맞췄다. ‘Wake Up’을 할 때에는 ‘Wake Up’이라는 가사를 주고받으며 팬들과 교감했다.

씨엔블루는 이날 공연에서 한국어가 아닌 영어, 광둥어로 이야기했다. 씨엔블루는 “기다려줘서 감사하다”, “홍콩에서 이렇게 공연을 하게 돼 기쁘다”, “정말 잊을 수 없는 공연이 될 것 같다. 정말 홍콩 관객들에게 감사하다. 다시 홍콩에 와 공연을 할 것을 약속한다”고 영어로 말했다.

씨엔블루는 직접 광둥어로 자기 소개를 해 관객들로부터 뜨거운 호응을 받기도. 공연 중간 중간에 짧은 광둥어를 선보임으로써 친밀도를 높였다.

씨엔블루 관계자는 “관객들과 더욱 더 소통, 교감하기 위해 씨엔블루 멤버들이 직접 영어, 광둥어를 준비했다. 통역을 하는 것보다는 직접 팬들과 대화를 나누는 게 좋을 것 같았다”고 말했다.

한편 이번 홍콩 공연은 티켓 오픈 5분 만에 7000석 전석이 매진됐으며, 현지의 추가 공연 요청이 쇄도해 10일 공연을 하루 더 추가했다. 씨엔블루는 대만, 싱가포르, 태국, 홍콩 공연에 이어 서울(25, 26일), 호주 시드니(6월 1일), 필리핀(6월 15일) 등에서 월드투어를 이어간다.

World Tour through CNBLUE JYH's Comments

Following Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand, CNBLUE held their "2013 World Tour- Blue Moon" in Hong Kong. Through their show on 10-11th at the Asia World Expo Arena, they met 14,000 fans in total. The writer of this article visited the scene on the 11th and tried to paint the picture of their world tour through JYH's comments and actions.

◆"Make Some Noise", HOT Stage Manners
On this day, CNBLUE performed hard rock tunes such as "Where you are", "Get away", and "One time", as well as hit songs "Intuition", "I'm a Loner", and "I'm sorry", maximizing their strength as a band. It especially climaxed during their debut track, "I'm a Loner." It was impressive how the fans sang along the Korean lyrics of the song.

When singing fast-tempo songs, JYH yelled "Make some noise!" to heat up the atmosphere. The audience screamed at JYH's words. The fans reacted by going wild to every single comment, facial expression, and body movement of the members.

◆"I love Hong Kong", Incredible fan service
JYH would make eye contacts with fans as he played the guitar and exchanged call and response with them, excelling at his duty as the main vocalist.

As he made appearance on the stage, he shouted, "I love Hong Kong." He continued to say it out loud throughout the show, and sang a song with the lyrics "I love Hong Kong", "Thank you Hong Kong", showing his affection for the fans.

◆"......" (Hand next to ear) Cute way of communicating with fans
More than anything, CNBLUE seemed to cherish the communication with their fans. JYH would put his hand near the ear to induce fans' response. When JYH sang "Naran namja", the audience sang along with the lyrics "Kyesok, kyesok, kyesok" and "Jigeum, jigeum, jigeum." During "Wake up", they resounded the phrase "Wake up" back and forth in accord.

Instead of Korean, CNBLUE spoke in English and Cantonese that day. They said phrases like "Thank you for waiting," "We're happy to have a concert in Hong Kong," "It'll be an unforgettable show, thank you Hong Kong. We promise to come back again to perform." in English.

CNBLUE introduced themselves in Cantonese, receiving great applause from the fans. They inserted Cantonese phrases here and there to improve their intimacy with them.

An associate at their agency said, "CNBLUE members prepared English and Cantonese phrases to communicate better with the audience. They thought it'd be better to directly talk to the fans rather than relying on a translator."
