정용화, 장애아동 위해 5000만원 쾌척 JYH Donates 50M KRW for Disabled Children

씨앤블루 정용화가 장애아동들을 위한 기부금을 전달했다. 

6일 밀알복지재단 측은 “씨엔블루 정용화가 세계장애인의날(12월3일)을 맞아 밀알복지재단에 장애아동들을 위해 써달라며 5000만 원을 기부했다”고 밝혔다. 

이어 “기부금은 정용화의 뜻에 따라 저소득가정 장애아동들의 의료비와 생계비 등으로 쓰일 예정”이라고 설명했다. 

정용화는 그동안 꾸준히 기부활동을 해왔다. 그는 국내외 취약계층을 후원하고 봉사활동을 펼친 바 있다. 2014년에는 자작곡 ‘별 그대’ 수익금을 기부하기도 했다. 

정용화가 기부금을 전달한 밀알복지재단은 장애인과 노인, 지역사회 등을 위한 46개 운영시설과 7개 지부를 운영하고 있다. 해외 18개국에서 아동보육, 보건의료, 긴급구호 등 국제개발협력사업도 수행하고 있다. 

정용화는 지난 3월 입대해 현재 군 복무 중이다. 군 입대에 앞서 대학원 부정입학 의혹을 받기도 했으나, 지난 10월 검찰은 혐의가 없다고 최종판단 내렸다. 전역일은 오는 2019년 12월이다. mkculture@mkculture.com

According to Miral (who announced this news), "the donation will be used for medical and living costs of disabled children in low-income families."
