그룹 씨엔블루의 정용화가 특공대로 군 복무를 한다.

13일 국방부에 따르면, 정용화는 5주간의 기초군사훈련을 마치고 지난 12일 강원도 화천 2군단으로 전속 부대를 배치받았다.

2군단 내 제702 특공연대로 자대 배치를 받은 정용화는 특공대로 군 복무할 예정이다. 일명 '불사조 부대'라 불리는 제702 특공연대는 1982년 육군의 날에 창설된 최초의 특공부대다.

정용화는 지난달 5일 강원도 화천군 육군 15사단 승리신병교육대에 입소했으며, 오는 2019년 12월 4일 전역한다. 오는 5월 21일에는 팬들을 위해 일본에서 신곡 '편지(Letter)'를 발매한다.
