정용화가 50초만에 보우드릴 불 피우기에 성공했다.

정용화는 2월 28일 방송된 MBC '일요일 일요일 밤에'(일밤)-'에코하우스'에서 원시도구인 보우드릴 불 피우기에 도전해 기록을 경신했다.

정용화는 그동안 불 피우기에 꾸준히 도전해왔지만 불 피우기 바로 직전 실패의 쓴맛을 봐왔다. 정용화는 그동안 6번의 실패를 딛고 7번째만에 불 피우기에 성공했다.

정용화는 동료들의 응원에 힘입어 전속력으로 보우드릴을 돌리기 시작했다. 초반부터 많은 재가 일기 시작하더니 결국 불을 지피는 데 성공했다.

지난 주에는 올밴의 우승민이 보우드릴로 불 피우기에 최초로 성공했었다. 이어 정용화는 기록을 50초대로 단축하며 신기록을 세웠다.

정용화는 주먹을 불끈 쥐고 "이제 무인도에서 살 수 있다"고 외치며 흥분을 감추지 못했다.
